I'm not a big fan of Cesar, but I'm prepared to think that he's got some kinda double-agent act going on, unless he really is a villain and VK hates him for calling him a "third-rate lab hack."

GAh I've got to find that screen cap, but when Caesar and BK first show up on screen together- Caesar gives her a look. I'm thinking admiration... I dont' know. I think Caesar definitely respects her ideas and most likely finds her "INTERESTING!" Sorry ...couldn't help it. This may not be the EXACT screenshot, but I think it gives off the same impression.  I flipped it to the correct perspective in which the viewer would actually see it. -is a dork- Now BK/Caesar as a pairing? I'd ship it. In my mind, it makes for an interesting story. Caesar's judgement would be slightly impaired due to his admiration toward BK. Oh, oh, oh! Just found a good quote: BK: What's taking so long? Caesar: He's fighting it. His nanetic energy is spiking off the scale. BK: Boost power. Caesar: It's not safe to- BK: It's for the best. |

I promised myself I would stay out of this thread and keep my opinions to myself, but after reading through the thread and discovering that no one seems to have presented a counter argument to “omg shipping!”, I feel more than a little obligated to toss in my two cents to the discussion.
Shipping isn’t a thing I do a lot of, mostly because I never really saw the point of it. Romance is a natural next step to the dynamics some characters have in canon; Holiday and Six, for example, spend the entire series standing in as Rex’s parents and have been for some time before the series starts. Their relationship going from strictly business to romantic over a 2-3 year period isn’t unheard of, and actually makes me like reading and writing about the couple because they have something going for them that isn’t “You’re hot… wanna fool around while the kid’s busy? ;D” (yes the smiley is necessary there) It’s the same with the parent/child relationship Rex has with them both individually and as a pair; he doesn’t remember his real parents and these people, though Six is initially cold to him, care for him like he probably imagines parents should care for their kids, so his brain has labeled them mom and dad instead of doctor and ninja. Only mildly related, but I will straight up die if he ever comes right out and calls one of them mom/dad – I already had a fanboy attack over the whole “like a father to me” thing from Six Minus Six.
That said, the only pairing that I really don’t like is Rex/Circe, despite liking Circe as a character. The reason is her powers; she has the power to attract EVOs, and Rex is already a bundle of raging hormones since he’s a teenager, it’s not unlikely that at least part of his attraction to Circe is based on her powers having some effect on him while his body is saying “ooo… pretty girl!” I don’t believe it’s something she does on purpose, just an extension of her powers she likely doesn’t have as much control over, but I do think it’s something she’s aware of, which may explain her unwillingness to go to Providence. And yes, I dislike Skwydd/Circe for the same reasons, but I don’t think it’s likely that one will happen at all. Anything else falls under “love it if it’s well written, blah towards it if it’s not”. I do love me some crack ships though, particularly Five/Holiday. Think about it for a minute then tell me you can’t see Five grabbing Holiday and planting one on her, just to see what Six would do about it. Holiday playing along just to tease Six is completely optional for this scenario.

^_^As far as cannon goes I really don't care- except with Brex. No Brex in cannon. Ships for me are mainly fun for fanfictions and fan art. Also to screw with the other shippers.
....Now ...Noreach....I would like to see that in cannon.
