I will look all of these up once I finish my french project... It may take a while...
For those who want anime that is not yaoi, but still awesome and totally ship-able I suggest (And has plot!) -D. Grey-man -07 Ghost -Ao no exorcist -No. 6 KHR (After the first 20 eps) -Code Geass -Fullmetal Alchemist (There is a het cannon, but when has that ever stopped shippers?) -Kutoshitsuji (the manga I recomend, but the anime is good too!) -Just about any CLAMP anime/manga
That's about it, I have a grand master list, but these listed above above are my favorites.

Well it's not blantant. Very subtle Kind of. :/ Nothing's canon and you have to squint pretty hard to see it, in my opinion. If you like Victorian yaoi, check out Cloe Remembrance. It's a completed webmanga that focuses on the romance (really, more like a puppy love) of a couple of boys named Liam and Edward. Their story is really cute, but my favorite couple is Richard and Henry (they're teens) and they're the ones the dip into a little more sexy stuff. X3 Although most of the story centers around romance and both couples' struggles. The art doesn't seem that great at first, but it improves vastly as it goes on. I also highly recommend her other story, Forest Dew. Although this one is a bittersweet but beautiful oneshot. I was never into yaoi until my senior year in high school, mostly because all I ever saw of yaoi fangirls were how stupid and annoying they were and I didn't want to have any part of that. But, then I got into Ouran and I double-whammied myself into shipping the twins together. OTL Even though I don't really ship them anymore, I at least learned that you don't have to be an idiot to be a yaoi fangirl (or any kind of fangirl, for that matter). XD;

I uh, honestly don't remember how I got into Yaoi. I'm PRETTY sure it started with Yugioh. I can remember reading my first hard-core yaoi fic and having NO IDEA WHATSOEVER what was going on XD
I remember there being a "Snake" reference and I was all like sdjhfsdfkjh WHERE DID THAT COME FROM?!

Well you see, Lonestar, when a boy and another boy love each other very much...
XD Yaoi, slash, and shonen-ai are all names for a romantic or sexual relationship between two guys. Yaoi, traditionally, is more sexual, but it's the term I tend to use for the genre as a whole. Shonen-ai is more romantic and slash is an English word for the genre.

Slash is more closely comparable to bara than yaoi, since every yaoi manga I've ever read involves a sickeningly feminine uke, grossly masculine seme and the romance tends to boil down to "I don't care what you think on the matter, I love you and we are going to sex right now." I'm sure that happens in slash fic too, but I stopped reading a lot of it because of the anatomical impossibilities, so I have no idea. >.>

Yeah...that is a bit of a problem, I'll admit. That's why I gave up on Junjo Romantica. People all say "Oh! Junjo is a Yaoi anime with actual PLOT!" And I say "No. This is Yaoi with a bunch of cliches and boring stuff thrown in between scenes in order to give the illusion of plot." I don't mind feminine ukes or masculine semes, as shown by my love of Sukisyo, but I like it better when it's more balanced. In Descendents of Darkness, it's obvious who the seme and uke are, but they act like normal people. I also recently started watching Uraboku. Again, it's obvious who's gonna be who, but they are believable characters. One thing that I gotta throw in that's been ticking me off: WHY IS IT that in almost EVERY Yaoi anime that involves...you know...the uke is RESISTING during most of the process?!?!?!?! I can count on one hand the times I have seen the uke give actual consent...one FINGER, actually! (and it's in Sukisyo) Do people think it's hot to watch an unwilling participant be...persuaded to do stuff?! I sure don't!!!!!

That's the entire reason I stopped watching/reading yaoi as a genre. Someone resisting isn't hot or cute, it's rape and it's wrong. I will not rant about rape glorification in the media.

List of boy love animes that have either willing action or none at all: Sukisyo, Descendents of Darkness, Loveless, Hetalia, and probably Uraboku (haven't gotten too far yet, so I don't know).
Additions, anyone? ^_^
