Alright, so I read an article just now where a 15 year old girl called the police on her mother when she was woken up by 'love making noises'. She was completely aware of what was happening and called the cops because she felt disrespected....
....Okay....WHAT??!?
I have walked in on my parents, heard my parents, and interuppted my parents more times than I care to think about most of the time ending up with a shoe or the closes nearby object that could be thrown, thrown at me and told to GTFO they were busy.
Did I feel disrespected- uh no. Grossed out- sure, who wouldn't? If I would have called the cops on them they would have had ME arrested for abusing the emergency system.
Now if your parents, mother whoever- decide to have sex in yoru room with you in there or make you watch or hide under the bed- yes that's wrong call the cops. But otherwise. Go to your room put your music on, head phones on, turn the TV up or something. Sex is natural. It's gonna happen. Unless you were made via immaculate conception or in a test tube- that's how you got here.
It's a very intimate moment between two people, who hopefully love each other. There is nothing in the world more powerful at binding two people together in an intimate way that enjoy each other's company.
If you are so spoiled that you think the world revolves around you- and can't realize that some times noise happens- you need to have a reality check.
On the other side of the argument- sure Mom should have tried to be quiet. But like I said- some times noise happens. When things get hot and heavy- some times it just can't be helped. If this happens ALL the time- put your big kid britches on and sit down and talk with your parents.
Say "Alright look, while I respect that ya'll liked to make whoopee" Or whatever "You kind of have a habit of waking me up. Can we install sound proof insulation or can you two put a sock in it?" Don't say it like that unless you have really laid back parents because it might warrant a slap upside the head.
Is it embarassing to hear it? Yes. Is it embarassing to walk in on it? Yes. But it isn't just embarassing to you- it is embarassing to the people that are 'caught in the act' as well.
If you have uuber predictable parents that stick to a schedule- find some where else to be. Get some head phones and read a book or listen to music. Deal.
