I can't decide if he is honestly mad because he still seems confused about what time he's in, or he knows he is being watched and this is all a big act to get him involved on the new nanite project.
Before the season is over, I want him back to his old self. It's a waste to have him insane. I know it was probably done to give Black Knight a shot at being the new villain, but I want VK back to normal. The BK and VK can have a showdown.
Think about it, we still don't know VK's true intentions. He had the chance to change time, but he did nothing major (except that monster.) And, he told White Knight in the 'Lions and Lambs' episode that he would be pleased if he knew what VK was really doing.

I know Van Kleiss could be a killer after what he said in Rome, but I'm not sure about Cesar. He is the guy who would put science over family, but I don't know if he'd kill.

For those hoping MoA won't pull an "Alien Force" with Gen Rex:
To be honest, not only is it possible, but likely. Think about it - they've done one timeskip already as an excuse to shuffle a new plot onto the board.
I can see it now:
Years after the problem of the Master Nanites was resolved, a new force rises up, and Rex has to stop him. With occasion hints to past villians and partners, like Jungle Cat and VK, and maybe one ep where Biowulf gets to use a Master Nanite for nostalgia.
It's likely, folks.

Yeah, double no, I honestly think they're going to end the plot at the end of this season. Though, I guess we'll find out soon enough (hopefully!!).

If the plot ends now, I'll be happy for it to stop while it's in its prime. No way do I want a Ben 10 to happen. Like Solora said - it's like trying to fill the sky with fluorescent lamps when the sun's going down in an attempt to keep the sky lit. It just won't work. And besides, we'll get 20 hours worth of video anyway (if GR ends at 60 episodes). I'm not saying I want it to end! I'm trying to be optimistic. Heavy, plot-filled episodes will please me if there's a fourth season. If anything like Guy vs Guy comes up again, I'm sending non-stop letters to MoA until they step up the game. Get it? Got it? Good.

With so few episodes left and so much to do we can most likely avoid a Guy vs. Guy repeat. Unless MoA decides they need to cater more to the younger audience.
VK can't stay insane. It's a waste of a good villain.
Caesar being good and everything turning out peachy would feel very forced. His death is one of the most believable options.

Agree, except if they're following the forum they should know that four-fifths of us are over 17. Agree. 99.98% agree. (Nothing's 100% )

I'm not keen on Gen Rex having a spinoff continuation like Ben 10 did, but i had to make that theory.
And you'll know when VK shucks off his crazy - he'll shave, xD

Nope, I don't want to see a spinoff. Besides, what would they do it on? If they end this season with the evo problem being solved and the meta nanites either being destoryed or contained then what else is left to explore?
And, yeah, I want VK to get that hair off his face. It's such a weird look for him, even if it is supposed to show he's mad.

Alright- I'm going to go against the grain and say- Yes. I wouldn't mind a spin off. It is completely possible for the creators to continue a series without running it into the dirt. I mean, there is a lot of holes that aren't answered and while yes they may be able to do it in 15 or so more episodes I think they could totally leave many of them open to continue on. They left us with some foreshadowing that Quarry will be back- Hunter Cain is STILL out there- Breach is poofing around between planes of existence- we don't know if No-Face is dead or not- We've got the whole PETE thing that can be revisited. Not to mention Alpha.
What ACTUALLY happened to Rex? Why was he changed? Was he the first evo before the event? What does the consortium have for this? How are BK, VK, WK, Rylander- ect- involved?
And y'know the only way things will go back to 'normal' at the season finale is if the world is suddenly unnanited (yes it's a word I just made it up so there) Just because Providence or the Rebels get all their hands on the master nanites- doesn't mean the world is automatically fixed. Just that one problem. We still have incurables, half curables and the populace of non-evos that can evo at any given moment.
*takes a deep breath* THERE IS STORY HERE!
T_T Now I'm going to step off of my soap box and give you all dirty looks. I'll give you a senario...
You are starting a new year in school- all new teachers things are great. Grades are good and then - OH CRAP YOU TOTALLY BOTCHED THAT 4 PAGE RESEARCH PAPER- it's all good though, right? The rest of your work is good. But uh oh- the teacher sees that botched paper and automatically gives you an F on all of your assignments for the rest of the year based on ONE failure without even giving the other work a chance.
That is essentially what you are doing to the MOA and GR production teams. You are basing the fact that one of their series didn't appeal to you as a viewer that any thing else they do as a spin off is going to be crap. SHAME ON YOU! And considering that Ben 10 is coming out with ANOTHER spin off- people must still like it. Keep in mind it is aimed at the younger male set. Pretty colors- weird aliens- lots of action and hitting things with the occasional pretty girl- and they're good.

Not all spin offs are bad, some squeals are better then the originals! Most of my examples are updated versions of 80's cartoons, and lets be honest it's not hard to do better then 80's animation...but case in point!

Though i wouldnt Mind Generator Rex Ending it has to have a solid Ending (the Secret Saturdays) Not just one Sequel After Another (Ben 10)
Though to be Honest i wouldnt mind a-Feature length Movie-The one in theaters- to wrap things Up.
But if a Sequel is a Must MoA Must be Attached to the Series No matter what they cant be Tossed to the side
