Black Knight looks a bit more like her original form than the others.
I would totally buy a Happy Meal just for one of those toys!!

I think they're weird just because we don't know they're characters like we do BK's.

This is one of the reasons that I think that they cannot tie up all of the loose ends in twenty minutes. If I had it my way, I would have at least two or three more. It just won't do it justice otherwise.

So I'm thinking that Rex will prolly go all full T.Rex-looking EVO in the last episode to beat the Consortium, but I wonder if he'll lose his memory again?? That would be an ending that would be... kinda sad! I know he has his journal somewhere but...

If it does come down to robo-Rex vs Consortium-bot, I wonder if it will be done quickly? I say that because VK has been the bad guy for so long and we still haven't seen the payoff for all his scheming, plus he was manipulating events last episode, so he's got to do something.

BK and the Consortium look like rejected Happy Meal toys now, xD MIGHTY MORPHING POWER RANGERS!!!!!! XD! (much obliged pickles for this here episode) but speaking of that there giant robotic contraption that bk & ect turned into, y'all know how easy it is to know how rex is going to turn into that thing in mexico to fight b.k right? and y'all know that when that fella turns into that thing... he IS gonna lose his memories. i can be my bottom dollar on that one.

Finally got to watch the episode yesterday. Many thanks to the person who put it up. It wasn't too bad, probably not my favorite but not too bad. The problem will be if the next episode is really rushed. The Good parts of this Episode Six going ninja on those Black Pawns Black Knight being pure distilled ruthless. She almost killed Rex multiple times in this Ep. Rex's interactions with Caesar. Especially when he went from angry to terrified in one second. Your average 15 year would be scared at that point. Van Kleiss's little bow to BK. And the "Bad, bad, bad, bad, bad". Six calling Doc Holiday by her first name. We finally saw Violetta Salazar's face! Rex making fun of the Consortium's robot appearances. Fitzy coming back.
The Bad parts of this Episode The Consortium's robot appearances. I liked BK. When Rex knew his parents were the ones who pushed the Nanite Event button. That seems like the sort of thing Caesar would avoid telling him.
Funny parts The of this Episode Rex's bubble beard. The looks on their faces when BK started glowing. "I just found us an army"

That seems like the sort of thing Caesar would avoid telling him. Um. Caesar was the one who pushed the button in the flashback and Rex knows about his family causing the Event because Caesar DID tell him in "Black and White." That was followed by White Knight telling Rex that the Event scattered the Meta Nanites. It was how Rex figured out that his parents had died to prevent the Consortium from getting their hands on the Metas. Also just as a general response to the flashback part of the episode... I realize some people didn't like it, but apparently it was necessary because I've noticed in various places that some people didn't realize how all the pieces fit together until it was flat out explained. However, it should be noted everything WAS explained in subtle ways over a number of episodes and if you were paying attention, it was all there and it was just a matter of placing all the puzzle pieces...but I guess they felt a recap just in case would be good. And apparently they were right to do it.

Caesar said "We had no idea what would happen" That makes it sound like the sabotage was a group effort by the scientists. The flashback made it more of a reaction by the Salazar family alone. Maybe I was just the only person not to realize how much Violetta and Rafael contributed to the giant earth changing explosion.
As for the exposition, it was necessary. That does not mean it wasn't extremely annoying.

Also keep in mind that the flashback may have had Rex narrating it, and pointing out a thing or two, but that doesn't necessarily mean that he was seeing everything we were (ie. VK preventing the Salazars from leaving), that may have been something shown purely for our benefit as the viewers.

That does not mean it wasn't extremely annoying. Just means Rex's mind went the same place mine did - that when VK said that Caesar triggered the Event, he was telling the truth. (Like he was telling the truth about all else that day, go figure.) I think he also said at the end of "Black and White" that his parents died to keep the Metas safe, meaning he assumes they were heavily involved. I assumed the same. /shrug That the flashback was annoying is your opinion and you're welcome to it. I personally don't share it. I'm too in love with the images that went with it to dislike it.

Please allow me to express my incredible and wholly unexpected overwhelming disappointment with this episode. Last time I knew, this show didn't do half-assed epic. I officially can say that Rob Hoegee is my least favorite writer in this series. I can't BELIEVE MoA bailed on writing the series finale. I must have missed this in my first pass through the thread, but I feel the need to respond to it. I think it's important to remember that while Man of Action created the concept of Generator Rex, based on the comic of M.Rex (which was actually done by half of MoA, Joe Kelly and Duncan Rouleau), they apparently were aided in developing the series for television by two other people - Rob Hoegee and John Fang, Story Editor/Writer and Supervising Producer, respectively. (My source on that being an interview with episode writer Eugene Son, "Operation Wingman", "Badlands", "Crash and Burn" and "Enemies Mine.") "I wasn’t there when Man of Action pitched Generator Rex, but it was loosely based on a comic book they had done years ago called, “M. Rex: King of Machines.” Eventually Man of Action developed it at Cartoon Network with crazy-talented supervising producer John Fang and uber-talented story editor Rob Hoegee and it became Generator Rex." - Eugene SonThis is likely the reason that Rob has been handed pivotal episodes like "Lions and Lambs" and part one of "End Game" when it comes to writing duties. He's one of the guys that made Generator Rex what it is now. Also, it should be noted that John Fang directed part one of "End Game", which in my mind puts two of the people most qualified to handle such an important episode besides MoA on deck. Plus, really, I think it's too soon to say that MoA "bailed" on writing the finale. It's a two parter and given what I've heard, it sounds like Rob didn't write part 2. Honestly, I wouldn't be shocked if the writing credit on the second half is with Man of Action, as they have handled a good number of very important episodes themselves, such as "Promises, Promises" and "Black and White." These guys knew what they had to get done and how much time they had left to do it in. I think judging part 1 too much before we see what happens in part 2 is a bit unfair. Ultimately, it should all fall together with both parts working together to wrap things up. And always keep in mind that the show itself is a collaboration. It's my assumption that what Hoegee wrote would have had to pass with MoA as Creative Consultants before it went into full production. And if it sounds like I'm being a bit defensive of Rob Hoegee, well...I sort of am. He worked on both Teen Titans and Legion of Superheroes, writing episodes for the first before being promoted to story editor in the third season and as a co-developer on the second of the two. I'm a fan of both series. He also wrote one of my favorite Transformers Animated episodes, "This is Why I Hate Machines." This is in addition to the fact that he's written good eps for GR. I've got a lot of respect for the guy and admiration for what he does.

Not sure where else to put this news, but MOA's twitter says to expect a big announcement for Generator Rex. I wonder what this could mean? twitter.com/#!/manofactionnow
