I have a whole OC already invented for him, but I never write OC/Real Character fics. I feel so lame writing them. They're for RP's and my head only.

I agree. Even though, most of the time, my OCs outdo some of the canon characters...

I just feel like it's cocky to write an OC because so rarely is it done well. They become Mary Sue's or the highlight of the story because you love them so much and no one else cares. I hate reading OC/Cannon stories or even just stories with OC's because they always become the highlight and fanfiction that people read is more for the cannon characters. I keep them for me and me only.

Oh, come on Little. You can't deny that a lot of the OCs in the Open Roleplay are way more interesting than a lot of GR's canon characters.

I wouldn't say that, we certainly have main characters, but most of the cannon characters aren't really even tertiary characters. So it's not that the OC's overshadow them, it's just we don't utilize them to their fullest. They still have personality and contribute to the 'plot'.

And another thing on that is that most of the Cannon Characters- Little has to do- and he has absolutely no grasp of characterization so they kind of fizzle..
