I don't see why people hate Circe. She's a really good character. She just needs more SCREEN TIME! And I see what you mean. The kids are likely to love the main character the most... You know, I also find if funny that a bunch of teens and adults are on a forum discussing this supposed kid's show... ROFL! I guess it's official that I don't have a life! LOL! ^_^

until holidays are over my life is consisting of a zillion activities that the others my age in the town found out what I did they would avoid me way more than what they do now, they are out with their underage drinking, vandalizing the place, smoking, sniffing whatever can be smoked or sniffed yada, yada, yada and Im at home watching my cartoons, hanging out with my pets (yes I actually hang out with 3 dogs a bird and two goldfish -.-) playing with the random things in my room, drawing, playing pokemon (its the only game I dont suck at) and chilaxing with my brother and best friend whenever possible, it is safe to say that In the eyes of others I too do not have a life , but the not life that I lead is the best most fun life that I could possibly dream of (though it could be better if my motor bikes were running) weird thing about all that is that all the kids I babysit think Im the coolest teenager around. go figure. besides strange as it sounds older people appreciate a good show more than kids do. as long as the main characters doing immature things, making crude noises and smashing stuff kids are gonna love it no matter what. in my eyes there is not much higher praise a cartoon for kids can get other than managing to obtain a fan base of people over the age of 13. and yeah I dont see why people have a deep rooted hate for circe, other than being a clone of about 5 teenage girls I know and have a bug worm thing that can come out of her face she hasn't done anything to make her a terrible person, she is just a confused teenager. that will one day most likely grow out of her personality flaws and the bug thing will go away when the evo issue is over with. poor girl needs a break.

I don't see why people hate Circe. She's a really good character. She just needs more SCREEN TIME! Completely with you on this:-) I have no problem with Circe at all. And frankly, I'm really not surprised that we don't see her more often when the pack is engaging Rex. Van Kleiss knows there's something between her and Rex - that potentially makes her a liability, but it also gives Kleiss a bit of leverage with Rex as well, which is what I understood to be the reason VK kept her around in the first place. You know, I also find if funny that a bunch of teens and adults are on a forum discussing this supposed kid's show...LOL! ^_^ As an aside, I got the M.Rex comic books this week. WOW - I am SO sad the original story never developed into something more than just two issues:-( Remember, MoA has to share creative input with other writers to make the show CN kid friendly. Unfortunately they primarily function as consultants to the show. I remember in that interview with Joe Kelly he talked about essentially "letting the child go" (i.e. M.Rex) to evolve into something more digestible for a younger 'cartoon' audience. Thankfully though, shades of the more adult-themed M.Rex concept still shine through the plot and the characters I think, and we're quick to catch on to it. So it really doesn't surprise me that adults, like myself, really enjoy this 'kid's' series as well. Maturity and life experience just lends us to thinking (or over thinking:-)) a plot line through a bit more critically than your average tween:-) The 'kids' go ballistic over Rex, whereas the adults will appreciate him and find him to be a very entertaining character. If this forum is any indication, the adults more naturally go ballistic over the adult characters (i.e. Six, Holiday, Callan, White, VK - you get the idea), because adult characters tend to exhibit more of the interpersonal complexities that adults are naturally drawn to in entertainment. Case in point, I'm not sure that anyone here is going to cry if Rex is not in an episode or two. But if our main adults - Six, Holiday, Callan, etc. - miss ONE episode, we don't seem to be completely satisfied, do we?:-)

I do not like Circe because she lacks personality. She seems to just have been shoved into the mix for a love interest. IF they develop her character more, and make her more of a stand alone character instead of this wishy washy follower that they have right now- I would be more inclined to give her a chance. Currently, to me, she's just another manson follower.

Yeah, Circe is kind of disliked by circumstance. I'm pretty sure it's not her that the fans hate, but it's the fact that she is kind of really OBVIOUSLY thrown into the show as some sort of cheap love interest/plot point. Rex likes her and she SO HAPPENS to be a member of the Pack. Wow. What a surprise.
If we get some character development with her, her hatedom may shrink.
As for me, well, I'm just annoyed at the kind of character she seems to be. That wishy-washy Bella-Sue that the main guy likes. She's great in all these ways but she's mopey and mysterious. :I

Circe is personality less at the moemnt. A creator flaw not a character flaw. She has no idea what she wants to do. What I don't understand is if she is looking to be loved again and find her place why not just let rex cure her and Poof! be done with it.

where would she go? her family before hand (presuming she had one) reacted in a pretty bad way, family love is supposed to be unconditional when she turned evo they should have done everything within their power to make sure shes still safe and knows shes loved, holidays sister got turned into the rampaging monster like evo and despite that holiday still loves her and does her best to keep her safe. if circe went back to them even if she was normal being abandoned beforehand would still leave a lasting impression, she wouldn't feel totally safe or loved by them ever again. she couldn't leave VK for providence either, not now. presuming she managed to get away from VK alive he and the pack would probably go out of his way to kill her for being a traitor to the closest thing to a family she has, yeah they dont love her, but they gave her a place to belong and a purpose when she didnt have one. shes between a rock and a hard place at the moment.

Don't forget who wrote you the fluffiest fic in the universe!!!! (LOL jk) *gasp* *falls to knees* FORGIVE ME. D8 In retribution, please hit me...with this wet noodle. XD I just can't help if that's how I see her sometimes. But I more agree with Doc more than anything. SHE NEEDS MORE CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT. It's kind of irksome since we know she's supposed to be important, but she doesn't get a lot of attention to really establish a deeper reason as to WHY she, CIRCE THE PERSON not Circe the love interest, is important. Like Doc said, why NOT just get cured and be done with it? She's just loyal to the pack for taking her in? She believes in Kleiss's cause? I can believe the latter more than the former and it'd more interesting if they could expand on it since we could understand more on her principles. But, at the moment I can't really see why she stays with them. Maybe if Van Kleiss was blackmailing her, there'd be a new dimension, but at the mo she's kind of a semiautonomous plot prop....imo

Let's not forget that she knocked Rex out by hitting him on the head.

I agree that Circe's main flaw is lack of characterization is her main flaw, and I DON'T hate her.(just getting that out of the way before I say...)
My main problem with her is that (due to lack of characterization\background) ahe seems to be all emo over being EVO when she DOESN'T have it that bad. If she never uses her powers, she looks completely human. She kinda reminds me at that point of all those teenage\Pre-teen girls who go into the Emo phase and proclaim everyone hates them and that their life is SO horrible...when it ISN'T. These kids have parents who love them (though they may argue sometimes) get what ever they want just by asking for it, get AT LEAST three hot meals a day, have a roof over their head and a warm, dry place to sleep at night with no fear that it will ever be taken from them.
Yet they still insist the world hates them (even though they may be very popular at school) and just generally act like little brats that need a slap in the face with the big ugly stick of reality.
*end hate rant*
On the other hand, it seems equally possible that she HAS a reason to be all "boo hoo I'm an evo ;A; " I HOPE SHE DOES. If they threw her in there JUST for a female love interest...I'm going to draw Dr. Holiday hitting her with a porcupine duct taped to a ruler screaming "SCIENCE!".
Yes.

man I wish I had a porcupine to duct tape stuff to. Rex gets a new love interest every couple of weeks it would make no sense if that was her sole purpose for being included, though I didn't even slightly contribute to the makings of this shows story line so very thing I spit out is pure speculation. arnt porcupines like bigger than a small dog, think the ruler would break if you tried to hit someone with one if a porcupine is attached to the end wouldn't it?. I want a porcupine.

Porcupines are tiny little buggers, I would say about the size of a Guinea Pig. At least, all of the one's I've seen anyway. It may depend on the breed.
