my answer to that lies with the theory that when rex blacks out everything is resest to a certain point in his life. when six found him he couldnt remember any details about himself but he could still talk, walk and speak this tells us his memory wasnt one hundred percent erased so i think his basic knowledge and such is reverted back to a set point in his life including his levels of maturity, so in short when he blacks out he mentally turns back into into his 10 year old self. hope that makes as much sense out of my head as it does inside my head. so his memory blacked out and he went from shifty street rat back to playing with toys in the tub.

I do agree there. Rex has his

moments, but he also has his >.< moments.

It's common for someone with amnesia to casually relapse back into whoever they were or sometime remember certain things and not even realize it. That's actually happened with Rex a lot, but MoA is awesome and doesn't put a big neon sign up saying "REX IS ACTING NUTS HERE".
