You know,I have to say that the 'filler' eps. have actually been functional. We got bobo's back story (kind of), we got Noah's last name, we got to see Rex in school (still waiting for that Holix mom and dad undercover thing....come on, MoA), we learned that Rex is actually pretty smart in Math at least, we confirmed that Holiday has been tutoring him to some degree, We know Claire and Annie weren't one shot wonders (Noah is soo going to hook up with Claire, and Claire will intern with Providence when she goes to college, and Noah will join up also:-)), and we were (well at least I was) given the impression that Caesar is a bit of a hyperactive renegade which may foreshadow him getting our little gang into trouble at some point.

I think these eps. have been doing a bit of foreshadowing or laying the groundwork for what's coming in the main plot. This is my guess, anyway:-)
