Oh man....guys I just had a sudden idea! So you know how Caesar hasn't really told his little brother about his/their past yet? What if Caesar did have some part in causing the Event, or at least thinks he did, and feels guilty about it? If he did, it could provide an explanation as to why he hasn't told Rex yet; he feels guilty and doesn't want his brother to be upset or disappointed with him...or something like that, I just really like fluffy sibling interaction between those two. Wiping ZAG-RS 's memory could have been a hasty, almost panicked reaction to something (or someone, wait does ZAG actually count as a sentient being? She should....) else that conceivably knows what happens and could spill the beans. Hmm, gonna have to think about this some more, just wanted to see what you guys thought of it, cause I totally see poor Caesar accidentally causing the Event because he's such a Cloudcuckoolander/Ditzy Genius...although maybe he had some hidden extra "help" Van Kleiss? VK doesn't seem to like Caesar all that much, and I can totally see him using Caesar's absent-minded nature for his own ends. Anyway, just wanted some feedback on this possibility, especially since it supports not-evil-but-mentally-screwed-up-and-ultimately-a-good-person!Caesar (*breathes heavily) who I'm really rooting for. (Sorry to everyone who wants him to be evil, but dammit I want my hot, somewhat clueless, ditzy, attractive, genius, secretly a badass, but really totally not secretly evil mad scientist!)

B-b-b-but....*sigh* Okay, he might end up as some kind of villain, but by god if he does MoA had better make him a darn good one! And actually, whenever I try to imagine Caesar as evil my brain just kinda...shuts off, blanks out for a second. It's actually kinda unsettling, if only because it feels like my brain just stumbled and missed a step, like when your computer suddenly shuts down and it makes that "ZZZzzzz" noise and then your all like "Whaaa?" and then....Wait, this metaphor's become too long, I need to stop now. What I'm trying to say is that whenever I think about Caesar being a villain there's some sort of mental block that prevents me from any but the most cursory of thoughts on matter.

I think that there is definitely something up with Caesar, I still think he's the reason why Rex loses his memory!!! And I think he erased ZAG's memory too, hence the, "He wiped Rex's memory"

But I think that if MOA makes Caesar evil, they'll do a good job.

I don't know. I don't thi Ceasar is evil. I do think he feels he caused the nanite event and that is a darker shade of him he wants to hide, but I can't see him actually being a bad person.

I can't take what Van Kleiss says about Caesar seriously because, well, HE'S the VILLAIN. XD I don't think he really has as much honor has his accent makes it seem to be. He obviously has a bone to pick with Caesar in the past and Caesar isn't crazy about him either, so why trust him?

Yeah I don't think Caesar is evil. Misguided intellect? Maybe. Evil? No. I think there are a some things he's hiding, but who doesn't have a few skeletons in their closet?

Hmmm, it would be cool to see Caesar being all silently tortured by whatever he's done wrong (or thinks that he has), even better if starts to slowly unhinge him, the reality of his mistakes driving him slowly insane(er) as those skeletons begin to bang at the closet door....man, I get poetic when I'm excited!

Yeah, Caesar could really be a fantastic source of character development. He's quirky and fun, but at the same time, completely mysterious and ambiguous. He's a really magnificently crafted character. I really hope he'll get as much screentime and development he deserves.

Sir, you make him sound...like...a...trickster... *mashes keyboard* asnfaurigka that would be awesome, I love tricksters! Lol, if he were an animal trickster I'd imagine him being like a coyote or something ;D

Ehehe. I kind of liken Caesar more like a bird. He's kind of hoppy, does a million things at once, fascinated by so many things, but kind of elegant. Like a blackbird? Or a magpie. XD

Caesar kind of really is a trickster. Maybe not always intentional, but I think Haunted could illustrate my point. ;3

LOL, thinking of Caesar as a magpie!trickster gives me this hilarious mental image of him going around stealing shiny items and hoarding them all away in some secret nest...then if Six pulls out his swords around him...poor Caesar. Actually, I've always wondered if Rex might make a good trickster-if only because he's like a shapeshifter and shapeshifting is almost a universal trickster power-but his personality would have to be tweaked to fit...but then he could be a fox! And now I might have to go rewatch Haunted to verify that, in fact I should probably go rewatch everything...curse you, laziness!
