I don't know. I can't help but disagree with this for now. After Alliance it really seemed like we'd see so little of her after that episode. It kind of felt that Alliance was a response to all the negativity to Circe's character so they kind of just put her away for a while. While I'd love for Circe to be a strong, rounded supporting character, I don't think she'd be made into a girlfriend. Primarirly because I'm pretty sure Rex would realistically annoy the piss out of her. XD Not to mention, not every original implied pairing gets together.

I mean, it doesn't seem particularly central to the plot that Rex should get ANY love interest. XD

Things might change, though.

I mentioned this before. They did Season 2 long before Season 1 finished. In fact they started working on Season 3 last August, which was during the Season 1 hiatus. They can't change things just because of negativity towards one character especially after they already finished everything for Season 2.

Unless there's something about the production process of an animation I'm not getting. Obviously I'm not an animation student or anything, but I know for a fact that producing animations are different from producing live action shows.

I read through your post again, and if think that Alliance is indeed a "response to all the negativity to Circe's character" then they must have had a farking amount of re-writing to do. They were finishing up Season 2 when they announced that they were working on Season 3.

I like Rex with either Noah or Breach, depending on my mood... I've never been a big fan of Circe and I'm still not. Alliances didn't change my feelings for her at all, really....
