Middle of 7? That is impressive, must be one hectic family. I'm an only child, with a single mom, and two cats... wow...

Oldest of two has its advantages. I feel bad for the middle kids in this family on my street with 10 kids, their house isn't big enough and the middle kids get stuck on sofas and the floor.

Ouch, that's pretty sad. In the Philippines, squatter families are actually very common, especially those living near the Pasig River

None of them are adopted either... According to my textbook in Human Geo, squatters are super bad in South America.

Me and my sis are twins, so there's no "being the oldest". We share every thing..

Nice one! But, I think there are a few disadvantages to that...in my opinion at least...

...sounds like you have the other end of the life i want to live when im older. do you think it's a good life? Well I grew up very alone, the only other kids on the block moved when I was 6 so it's actually pretty lonely, my mom was always working being single and all, I pretty much grew up alone~~ Not the best, but it was ok.

I dunno, I just think there are. To every advantage, you get a disadvantage...
And I know the feeling...well, at school anyways so I'm friends with my teachers instead!!

haha well, I actually didn't have many friends, no one liked me at school until like grade 5, and there wasn't really anyone on my street. The only friends I had was the family mom sent me to after school, they had 3 boys, so they were initially my only friends~~~

People tend to frustrate me, so my only friends are people I'm really close to.
