Okay- What do we think of the Doc's past and her family? What is her relationship with her parents like? What about her sister?

Holi's family was all viciously murdered when she was a kid, then she grew up to avenge them, but her intellegance lead her to providence instead. She is looking for the murderer now so she can use them as a test subject.

I always pictured Holiday's family as being fairly normal since to me she seems like the member of the main cast who's the most stable. And I don't know why, but I always pictured her family as owning a farm, probably since she's not afraid to go out and get her hands dirty. That last part's just theory of mine for possible uber cute family fluff fics 'cause I'm a sucker for that kind of story.

I see her dad as a quiet guy but he can be almost childlike when he gets excited about stuff (like he totally geeks out over machines). I imagine her mom is a warm, loving, and strong-willed person, clearly the leader of the Holiday clan. Holiday's sister eludes me somewhat but I picture her and Holiday having the usual sibling rivalry along with that deep affection for each other sisters have even when they're getting on each others' nerves.

Okay, I've thought about it.

I see Holiday as having a relatively normal upbringing in a goal oriented home. I see her father as being a scientist also, perhaps. The question is whether or not Holiday had a good relationship with her father, or a strained one. For me personally, it could go both ways at this point. BUT I do feel that her father played some significant role in her life that still affects her today.

Her mother, maybe a scientist also, maybe not. Her sister, no clue. But certainly it is clear that Holiday is very protective of her sister.

This makes me wonder if perhaps her parents were also killed during the nanite event. An now, the only family she has is her sister, whom she is trying to cure. Holiday empathizes with Rex an awful lot - that's what leads me to suspect that she may be able to identify with Rex's losses (i.e. no parents, no family) so easily - and she's perpetually trying to get Six to understand this and how these things affect him.

And oh well, why not - let's make a big fat speculative circle here:-) If the above is true, then perhaps Holiday also tries to get Six to be empathetic to Rex, because secretly she wants him to be empathetic to her as well. If she and Rex have similar life stories, then this could make sense.

Well, yeah, I think Holiday came from a family of scientists. She became one because she wanted to follow their footsteps but maybe her sister thought otherwise. She told her sister about it and they supported each other's decisions

At least that's how it came out in my head

I pictured her mom as the quiet family type and her dad uber goal oriented scientist and she didn't see him much, but when she did he took her hunting and fishing because she was the son he never had until the nanite event when he died in a lab accident and her older sister turned leaving her with not much left but because she was raised by her mothers example of enuring everything and doing whats best for the people she cares about no matter how hard it is Holiday worked with Providence anyway.

I had Docs mom being a drunkin gold digger in one story. Then again i made her semi related to gatocke too so im just weird.
