Cat...I think I have met my match...wow...that was...probably one of the best free verses I've ever read. And I read a lot of poetry, mind you! That just blew me away! If that's what you can accomplish in fifteen minutes...then...wow... Aw tjanks!! I guess you could say i have a gift for poetry, but i can never seem to write anyhing not depressing... its kinda frustrating...

Wow, random that I just found this thread again! I was scavenging through my old stuff and I found this poem I made when I was like...Grade 2. I just wanted to share because it was so short, funny and amusing!
Teachers
Teachers teach us what we need to know So that we can be ready for the world when we grow Our teachers are important to us Because without them, the world will be in chaos
Teachers are pretty, but can be very mean sometimes They get mad at you for doing bad crimes I know I didn't do it, did she see me? She has nothing on me, so why treat me like a little flea?
Teachers are weird on more than one time First they talk about verbs, then suddenly teach you things that rhyme Is this supposed to be normal, or is it just me? Um...maybe I'll just ask my mommy...
Haha! I got a good laugh from this!!! Actually, I think I was talking about my Grade 2 Reading Teacher here...
