I have recently gotten into it. For me, it's kind of tongue-in-cheek. I love Fluttershy, but she seems so out of place among these diva ponies. It's like the others are so strong-willed on occasion that I flip flop with them, and they seem to be very insensitive to her. I'm still watching it. I remember watching the ones in the 80s and the 90s movies. Maybe it'll get better as I watch it. :still in season 1; finished ep. 10:

Still it puzzles me. I'm not knocking the male audience, but it is odd. Why is it so darn popular among the male audience? I really do want to know? The ponies have kind of these masculine qualities? Made by Hasbro? They want to hear Tara Strong's voice because she's hot? What?
