How ironic that you just started this thread because I literally just woke up from a nap (I had an exhausting afternoon today) completely disturbed by a GenRex dream I had while I was sleeping.
Okay - get this.
The entire dream was me watching an extended preview of an upcoming season. The funny part was that I was driving in my car and preview was running on the radio, yet I could see it in my head - that's some Futurama high-end radio technology - and in my car!
Alright, so the preview started out with random images of scenes from upcoming eps. (I don't really recall the content). BUT the preview then segwayed into what was supposed to be the major story arc for the season.
The scene played out as follows:
Holiday goes to meet with someone (he looked, or felt rather, like a cousin) and his wife at their mansion. Apparently the cousin was informing Holiday that her Uncle Pedro (
) died and left her a large portion of his massive inheritance as well as a key to a large storage facility. The cousin claimed he wasn't sure what was in it since their uncle was rather secretive about this storage facility, but that he was excited for Holiday to go and findout - apparently only she could gain access to it, and he seemed slightly put off for a moment that he had no access himself.
Okay, great. So then this weird montage complete with dramatic song (and the song was actually pretty cool, and quite vivid in my mind) picks-up and shows Holiday getting consumed by all the wealth she was left by her uncle and the burden of the strange secret (some sort of device, or something?) in the storage facility. These scenes flash by (VERY anime-esque) of a very beautiful Holiday dressed in these expensive gorgeous outfits (she's got a pained sad face the entire time) and ends with an image of Holiday in a very fitted blue button down coat with the lapel open at the top revealing the light blue collared shirt underneath that was rather revealing at the neckline. Her hair was down and very wind blown and she was walking forward with her head down, face in a sad/regretful/angry(?) expression, hands in her pockets, and eyes closed. I don't remember the words exactly to the part of the song that was playing in my head during this scene, but they were implying that Holiday had in some way been corrupted, though it didn't feel like it was willfully.
The next words of the song, however, I remember EXTREMELY clearly - as the scene montage cuts from Holiday's sad fashion show into scenes of Six flashing past showing all the ways he's been trying to help Holiday (bring her back to the light, I guess), the song goes "Your life has many shades of green (referring to her wealth), but how will it hit the man in green?" *WTF!!!
* Okay SERIOUSLY?! Then the very next scene is Six getting shot. He dramatically falls backwards to the ground. And he dies. The music ends. The scenes rushing by end. Fade to black. That's how the series ends.
And I am sitting dead silent shocked in my car, horrified that I just watched Six get killed and that's how the GenRex series ends.
LOL - 'Dream me' actually starts CRYING in my car as I'm driving in sheer disbelief that I just saw THE WORST ENDING to the GenRex series I could possibly imagine (and, well did apparently:-)) and I'm still stunned that Six is dead and Holiday's corrupt.
This apparently was so emotionally intense for me that it actually woke me up, and I actually felt sad! Like I had just balled my eyes out......Seriously....
I don't know whether to laugh or still be sad!
My brain has been processing that crazy Holix ep. all week and I think I just hit the wall. Time to take a break and step back for a minute:-) - that was too much. Waking dreams for me are always very strange, VERY vivid, and very emotionally intense. This one was definitely no exception:-)
