I would like to start this rant on whatever that comes to my mind to be about Beyblade.
You know? The old anime that was based on dudes battling out tops and see who's is the strongest? I used to play that kind of stuff. REALLY FUN!!
I had 3 beyblades all in all in my collection. One that my mom bought for me, one my cousin gave me when he got a new one and one my Amma gave me for my birthday!
She also gave me a set of Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Cards! But it's the one with Pegasus on it! I wanted the one with Saito on it, but Ahia already got dibs on it! UNFAIR!!!
Yu-Gi-Oh! was my favorite pastime with my cousin! He would frequently win, but I wouldn't care! My other cousin just follows fads, depending on what anime is popular, either Yu-Gi-Oh!, Zoids, Beyblade etc. Sometimes, he even goes back to each fad, which gets very annoying.
I don't get why you have to follow fads. I mean, you don't HAVE to follow fads, but, why should others follow them? They have their own identity, they can do what they want and not follow them. I do that. My cousin said if others do that, they'd be discriminated or out of date or something! I know we're always supposed to be updated, but what's wrong with liking old things? I LOVE antique stuff! Even if one touch will make it wither to dust all of a sudden!!
Dust...there's a lot of dust at the top of the chalkboard at our school. Good thing my classmate brought a duster. Bet that hasn't been dusted in YEARS!!!
Speaking of cleaning supplies, I remember the first time I saw the cabinet next to the door at the second and third floors in Grade 4. When I opened the door, I always shout out "HEY! It's NARNIA!!!" then everyone would crowd over me, sarcastically reacting along with me.
I remember last November, I dressed up as Edmund from Narnia for "Character for a Day". Then I always got uneasy for some reason whenever my classmates talked about how "hot" Skandar (the actor who played Edmund) is. Kinda creepy...
And on the same day, a girl dressed up as Konan (Naruto character) angered my classmate, then she stole my plastic sword looking for her while I chased her, telling her, "I'm not gonna help you kill Konan!!"
I can't believe Konan died in the Naruto Manga! Wah! She was SO awesome pa naman! An inspiration to origami people everywhere!!!
Speaking of origami, I learned how to make a paper box yesterday! So far, I have made 4, one I gave to my adviser, so now it's 3!
Wow...my rant went from Beyblades to paper boxes. Strange, eh?
