Have you ever had one of those moments with friends and family that's just so plain... awkward? Feel free to share! I'll go ahead and tell you about one of my more recent awkward moments... . . . There I was, walking through the aisles of Wal- Mart, when suddenly, this guy checked me out, like a piece of bread at a cash register. Why is this awkward, you ask? Well, it just so happened that my father was standing right there. And he saw the whole thing. The guy did it in the most obvious way possible! My family nagged me about it for the rest of the day.

ah awkward moments what would life be with out them? i can list a few - I got caught planning my principles murder by the principles wife. I was 11 and I was the only one in school that hated the smug....man. - then theres the time our dog Tara went on heat and kept on reversing up to all my brothers friends with a disturbing look on her face. - having this guy who didnt handle rejection well scream out "HAVE YOU NEVER SEEN A SIX PACK BEFORE?" in the middle of a crowded street. - those conversations with those who know all about me and I dont even slighty remember them. - listening to a lady happily married to a pedophile talk about how there are some sick people in the world. -and the king of my lifes awkward situations to date was when my mum had collected a bunch of graphic magazines locked me in a room with her as she tried to explain life and all its creepy secrets that your blissfully unaware of as a young child. thing was that at seven years of age and having already learnt it all thanks to a bunch of older cousins I got totally creeped out and being the oh so mature kid I was screamed "LALALALA" at the top of my lungs for the whole hour with my fingers in my ears. the session ended and I ran off with the magazines and buried them out back.

I was talking to myself. And someone heard me spill my secrets.

there are various, but I remember one -I was at a piano recital, it was casual so I was laid back and relaxed, so much in fact that I ended up tripping on my feet..... and faceplanting

Oh man, too many to count! Although most of them are more embarrassing then awkward. For example: one time I was talking with a friend, and for some unknown reason, I suddenly decided to lean forward and bite his finger. Well, bite is a bit too strong, I didn't want to hurt him or anything, but that didn't make it any less mortifying. God, I could be an idiot when I was younger.

The family and I were driving through town with our windows rolled down(hehe rhymes) because of the heat. We stopped at a red light, when this guy on a moped stops right beside us. He was close enough to the point that you could reach out and touch him. The streets were completely empty except for the two of us. So we all just sat there, kind of afraid to talk because the guy was just so darn close, and me, I was too busy trying not to laugh, because I laugh during awkward situations.

I've got one. I went to my boyfriend (now ex boyfriends) house to meet his parents. He introduced me by one of his ex girlfriends names and then his DAD was the one that caught it. I was mortified.

My friend who I've only really been friends since the start of this year, told me that before this year she didn't even know that I was in her year. I'm below her on the register. AND we did a project in maths together a year ago. *facepalm*

*that is awkward* - Being called ma'am by the air hostess. oO - Thinking the school toilet was under maintenance when someone was actually in there, and practically shouting "My favourite one! Blocked! Now what am I going to do?" -////////////////-

*awkward*
-when i was in year 3 i had like tonsilitus or something and one of my friends wanted to see so i had my mouth open really wide and still talking to them and we didn't realise the whole class was silent and looking at us cos we sat at the back and my teacher just cleared her throat at us and we realised we had to shut up (embarrassment that i still feel from when i was 8) -talking to shop assistants, i don't even know why -when i was watching a new episode of family guy with my mum (who doesn't like it cos it's rude) and in it stewie created evil stewie who cut off brians tail and fed it to stewie. i don't know why, but at the time it was sooooo awkward.
