Seeing someone in the public eye open up about being transgender was one of the deciding factors in making me be more open about it myself. I think it's horrible that people are going to react like this to him, especially over something as stupid as whether or not he's on a TV show. :/

WTF do transgender people expect?

Its not like they are black men that can't walk down the street without some white cop giving you sh*t, calling you boy, and arresting you for walking while black.

It's not like they are gay and getting the same for what you do in your own bedroom.

For real I'm speaking from a position of ignorance and asking to be enlightened.

Explain to me why transgender people deserve special consideration that say someone into extreme body modification doesnt? And by that I mean google "tigerman" and see a guy with some issues, and not someone into tatoos.

It originally started in the bible, where it mentions that people of the same gender shouldn't "bed" together. Now, it's incredibly blown up and most people don't even realize why they're angry at them, except that they're jealous they can't be open about themselves too or they see something that could be used to put someone else down. Aka, adult bullies.

The extremists are going by what the bible says and isn't above going to the dark ages and burning them at the stake.

But don't worry. I see it plainly how people of our generation is so much more open to things like this (being different in any form) than older folks are.

I don't think it comes down to special consideration, dd. I think its about being treated like everyone else. People who are transgender are treated differently, partially I think it is because the vast majority of people do not understand. I don't understand either but I see no reason in burning someone at the stake just because they live a different life style than I do.

No personal history what so ever. No past to ground him, no grandma to teach him how to act when people are over, and the only person he has any connection to doesn't want him around.
