...And your mom didn't dump him right then and there because? Jeez. I hate hearing stories like that! I have a bunch of friends who have moms/dads dating jerks that openly insult them, stepparents who physically abuse them, and divorced parents that regularly harass them!!! I may be speaking out of terms because I have no idea what it's like myself, but if I had kids, my first objective would be to protect them. If my BF/GF was being mean to them, I'd kick 'em to the curb without a second thought! My condolences, Purple. *huggles*

I got another rant on something that's completely unrelated, nowhere near as bad as Cat's problem, but incredibly annoying: MegaVideo's 72 minute time limit! I was watching the new Miyazaki movie and it hit the 72 mark RIGHT at the good part! It ALWAYS stops RIGHT when something awesome is about to happen in WHATEVER I'm watching! Is the site doing it on purpose? Is it TRYING to drive me nuts?!?!?!

Bleargh, annoying. >< I was watching Spirited Away, and it stopped RIGHT at the part where they had to wash the stink spirit (that was actually a river spirit)! I RAVED RIGHT THEN AND THERE.
Biggest rant yet from me is now. Yes, once again, it's about Pokemon.

Specifically to whatever company's airing Best Wishes, and whoever invents new Pokemon, Ken Sugimori, whatever.

I really don't see the point of Ash STILL being ten years old. The show's been airing for fifteen years, at least make him twelve!

Another thing is to stop aiming the show at ten-year-olds, and explaining things like we've never seen them before. I've been following this show for seven-odd years, and I want to see more mature things, like a well-rounded team for Ash instead of those BLASTED STARTERS THAT DON'T EVOLVE. People can go look up Kanto for their beginner's fix.

LOOK AT FAKEMON people have made. Blatantly put, Unova sucks. I mean, come on, a rubbish bag? A snowflake? And a chandelier? Not to mention an ice cream cone. POKEMON ARE ANIMALS, NOT OBJECTS. Fakemon I've seen include beautiful phoenixes and powerful rhinos. What do we get? The ugly duckling and a spiky metal seed.

The shapes put on the Pokemon are simply ridiculous. The little detailed shapes, the tiny diamonds, the swirls. What the heck is that snowflake drooling? The heck is up with the stripy fire-type anteater's head? What are the swirls on Emboar's stomach? Why is Meloetta's hair a music stave with notes, and why does the biggest one have Pikachu ears?! And. What. The. Hell. Is. Klinklang. Gigigearu sounds better! It sounds like gears moving!

Why does Ash know NOTHING about Unova? Even the basics? If you're trying to go with the RL people who know nothing about Pokemon and are just starting out, you FAIL. I mean. Seri-flipping-uosly. He doesn't know that there's going to be a Unova Champion? It's understandable that the system might be different/no champion, but then The Pokemon world is linked, meaning that the system would probably be the same all over - and that means information would be sent throughout different regions, which brings me to ANOTHER point - How come NO-ONE knows about Ash in a new region? Yeah, no-one's heard about the boy who faced the Elite Four in Kanto, almost beat the Johto League, owned the Battle Frontier, battled Bertha and Lucian outside the Sinnoh League, saved the world from the current known as the Beast of the Sea, saved Altomare and its Guardians, stopped the disintegration of time and space and stopped a rampaging Zoroark?! COME THE FREAK ON.

Also how Pikachu's level drops from something like eighty to five. ...Owned by a grass-type Basic stage 'Mon that knows a freakishly powerful move.

...Smaller things that bug me are the five-whole-minute entrances of 3D effects in the movies, that are simply colours or something that has to do with the movie. Blargh. Also the 'Time Ripple' in Zoroark Movie. WTF? Just go with Time Rip, please! Or Rent! It's more accurate! And god, I am so glad that Ash didn't go "What's a Celebi?" in that movie. If he did, I would have written an official letter to them, right then and there.

*Goes and runs off to Marriland.com for a Unova Dex* you'd think Shelmet would evolve into Escavalier, and Karrablast would evolve into Accelgor. Also that Boufallant would evolve from Tauros, and Alomomola from Luvdisc. Oh no, Game Freak wants to mess with our heads. And Bachuru sounds better than Joltik.

Gosh darn it, STOP giving the bad guys Normal, Dark, Poison and Ghost type 'Mon! It's boring!

I will forever be a Sinnoh supporter. Space-Time creators of the Universe? Plot Bunnies for Creation Myths are hopping. But Yin-Yang dragons based on a furry Olympic Torch and an armoured rhinoceros? I don't think so. The one complaint I have about Sinnoh is the way Dialga, Palkia and Giratina are portrayed as little more than monsters that run on instinct in The Creation Arc - Darkrai, Sky Warrior and Jewel. My favourite movies have their only letdowns... that is major sad for me.

Amen, Spirit. I gave up on the show in Sinnoh and the games in Unova. I gotta add something else too: BRING MISTY BACK!!!! May was okay but I don't want Dawn or whoever this new girl is. If they wanted to get viewers, they should have a new season called Pokemon: Yes, this one has Misty in it. Also, they got rid of Brock. They finally got rid of Brock and there's no Tracey to alleviate this latest blow. GAH!!!! I want Misty, Brock, and Ash to be a team again!!!!!

That's the entire reason I stopped watching the Pokemon cartoon. I mean, we get a different PC in every game, how would it be any harder than that to give us a new kid every few series? Not to mention the fact the series got really repetitive after the first season or two.


EDIT: Oh, and why is there nothing to do during the day while everyone I know is either at work or school? >< Grrr, I want people to talk to during the day, my parents don't want me being nocturnal.

Yerp. Screw Team Plasma! I really needed to let all that out... And one last rant about Tracey. He's a guy whose hobby is drawing, and he's called Tracey Sketchit. Talk about your imagination fix. ><

... This isn't so much of a rant. Two days ago, I saw a green Kawasaki Ninja. I FREAKED and yelled "Holy CRUD, a Kawasaki NINJA!!" The driver (who had GLASSES under his helmet) looked at me with a wierd expression on his face and drove off.
A week ago, I was moving clivia (flowers) with my uncle and he had six white ones. I told them they were very pretty, and he said they were actually green.
... I found a liquidamber oak leaf with six points.
... I got the green number six bib in PE.
... And there were six green skittles in my Skittles packet.
IT'S A SIGN! A SIGN, I TELL YOU!!
