Hey, guys! Solora here. I've been thinking lately about how quickly people grow up, myself included. It still feels like only yesterday when Mom was reading me Harry Potter before bed. Good times... Still, everyone still is a child at heart in one way or another. This thread is to list the different aspects about you that let that inner child shine. Here are some of mine:
I still ask people with dogs if I can pet them. (the dogs, not the people XD) I still believe in faeries. I still believe in dragons. I still believe in unicorns. I still believe in Nessie. Let's just save time and say that I still believe in mythical creatures. ^_^ I still get excited and rush downstairs when my fav TV show comes on. (GR!) I still get giddy over Christmas. I still love the Muppets. I still go Trick-Or-Treating. I still stay up on New Years Eve. I still climb trees. I still talk to my favorite stuffed animal. (Ruff) I still have a blankie. I still know how to enjoy the little things in life. (the smell of an air conditioned room, cupcakes, summer, etc.)
I'll add more later. Let's hear some of yours!

I still love cuddling with my mom, even though it sounds really dorky. I LOVE her though, so It's okay. :3 I will scream like crazy if I get really excited or really frustrated. And instead of doing Facebook-y teenager-y things on the web, I spend mostof my time playing brick breaker.

I still play in Club Penguin

I still think every single object around me has a mind, so I turn my McDonalds Reshiram figure around before I change >< I never step on the cracks in the footpath. I like POKEMON. I play Lego. I play Neopets... sometimes I play with sticky tape. I eat cereal in the mornings.

I get excited when I smell fresh baked cookies.
Having a cookie and a juice box while watching cartoons is completley acceptable.
I get mad if someone eats the last of above mentioned cookies.

My definition of "doing something bad" still involves stealing a cookie out of the package before dinner. I still make a face at romancey moments in anything I'm watching. I would rather be up for Saturday morning cartoons than go out on a Friday night. Saving the Pokemon world from evil is a valid excuse to ignore bed time, even when I have something important to do the next day.

your still a kid if the idea of getting older is exciting and not a dreaded process that needs to be stopped at all costs.
pimples are more of a worry than wrinkles.
you cant stand the ABC radio.
mum and dad have the final say and therefore are the enemy (they are in alliance with teachers to drain away the fun)
your idea of a clean room and your parents idea of a clean room are really, really different.
if given the chance youd skip dinner and just eat dessert.
you dont care about the artificial colours and flavours or sugar content in lollies.
politics is boring and not a topic worthy of fighting over, unlike who gets to sit in the front seat (that is a topic worth fighting tooth and nail over)
if given the choice between the 6o'clock news and new episodes of your favorite cartoons the cartoons win no questions asked.
when telemarketers ring up you have no idea what they are talking about, and even if you did you dont have the authority or the means to buy or change anything anyway.
when you see a giant spider or centipede or other creepy crawley you can yell "MUM!!!!" and get your own personal exterminator to come racing in to remove said creepy crawly with her trusty plastic container and nerves of steel.
people still use the sentence when your older you'll understand (for real what does that even mean anyway?)
you hide from things you want to avoid and practice selective hearing whenever things you dont want to hear are called out.
you rotate through your stuffed toys so each has an equal chance to spend the night in the bed and none of them are left feeling unloved.
you still find play doh insanely fun to play with and dont find homemade dough as fun.
