October is a month for many things. It sports the day when all the kids wake up on November first with stomach aches from too much Halloween candy. Of course there is Columbus day and we can't forget those hung over from Ocktoberfest. It also starts reeling in the colder weather seasons for us in the states. However October has also be designated Breast Cancer Awareness month. Breast cancer affects many women- and thanks to the strides that medical research has made it is no longer a guranteed death sentence. While women are the most affected by this horrible disease men can also have it. Age and size doesn't matter when it comes to this type of cancer. It doesn't care whether you are 20 or 100, or a AA or a G. Cancer is an unbiased and non discriminatory disease. Lets show our support to these women, men, families, and friends that have been affected by this. Save the Tatas. Save the boobies. What ever you want to say, lets hear it. I'd love to see everyone post a pink ribbon on this thread- but I'll take what I can get ^_^
