If you are unsure about a rule's meaning, or feel any rule listed is unjust, please contact the administrator (myself) or a forum moderator. Some of these rules were adapted from Plumber's Playground.
Overall Site Rules:
1. Treat others as you want to be treated. ABSOLUTELY NO bullying, taunting, mean-spirited teasing, rude, derogatory or defamatory comments towards other members will be tolerated under ANY circumstance. Doing so will result in an immediate ban from the forum. You can have disagreement with someone, but you are expected to be civil about it.
2. Please keep all conversations and language PG; PG-13 topics allowed with permission from myself or a moderator and with a warning in the thread. Please no cursing--if you just can't get around that, the word needs to be censored. (Mild cursing is permissible in PG-13 threads) Mild offenses of the language rule will result in a warning and/or suspension. Repeated or serious offenses will result in a ban from the forum.
REVISED 1/4/11: AS PER PROBOARD TOS, M-RATED CONTENT AND LINKS TO M-RATED CONTENT ARE NOT ALLOWED.
3. No spamming. I know sometimes things get posted twice by accident, please be courteous and help keep down clutter by removing repeated posts.
4. Keep on topic as much as possible, side discussions are permissible, but they should not take over the thread.
5. No outright bashing, you can have a whole discussion about disliking/hating something, but you need to explain why. You are not allowed to bash other peoples views either.
6. Do not provide links to full episodes unless it's cartoonnetwork.com, or another page that has legal ownership of the episodes.
Rules Regarding Fanfiction (please note, access to view fanfiction on this forum is limited to registered members only)
1. Plagiarism of stories posted elsewhere will result in immediate banning. By posting a story you verify you are the story's original author. If you want to share a story you did not write, then you can post a link to the work in the Fanfiction Lounge.
2. All stories must be placed under the correct genre. If your story contains multiple genres, place it under the one that fits best. If you feel your story falls best under a genre not listed, you can appeal to the administrator to have it added.
3. Title and rating should be clearly present in the thread title, ratings should be given as defined here www.fictionratings.com or here www.tvguidelines.org/ratings.htm
4.Mature rated fanfiction must contain clear content warnings before the start of the story REVISED 1/4/11: AS PER PROBOARD TOS, M-RATED CONTENT AND LINKS TO M-RATED CONTENT ARE NOT ALLOWED.
5. Flames will not be tolerated, there is a difference between constructive criticism (which is allowed) and flaming.
6.Writers are expected to use spell check and good grammar. Hard-to-read stories will receive a notice that they should be corrected; if efforts to correct the story are not made within a reasonable amount of time, then they will be removed.
7. As a courtesy to readers, please list any parings at the beginning of the story.
