I guess I'm seeing Holiday transitioning into older sister role with Rex now - I've been on the fence about Six being "Dad" vs. "Older brother/older male role model." Its hard to describe the new vibe.

Yeah...Bev does strike me as a Mary-Sue... I gotta admit that seeing Six in the doghouse would be very funny! Plus, how he gets OUT of the doghouse could be totally sweet!!!

How can you say she seems like a mary sue when we haven't seen the girl for more than 30 seconds- 2 minutes tops. I say we need to see more of Bev to get her character down. She might be a complete dork once they show more of her, or a ditz or she could be a great character.
You all know my position on Circe, but that was after watching her for a full episode and several after that. Let's not have the Fangirl mentality of "Hang the Love Interest". We need more information on her first. Give the girl a break- she's been a spider for who knows how long.

Nonononono but if rex and bev start dating and Holix exsists, it just seems reminicent of a crappy marysue plot line, so i expect a new character to jump oit if no where as a mary sue.

*hands up in surrender gesture* I'm just going by what I saw. First impressions are important. I usually form an opinion on a character within the first ten seconds.
10 seconds of Rex: Cool, funny, sometimes awkward teen.
10 seconds of Six: Completely epic representation of Agent K from MIB
10 seconds of Holiday: Kind hearted, motherly figure with a dry sense of humor and stubborn streak
10 seconds of Van Kleiss: PEDO!
10 seconds of Biowulf: Loyal henchman
10 seconds of Circe: EPIC AWESOME goth love interest
10 seconds of Breach: Creepy AWESOME character
10 seconds of White: Jerk-faced idiot that I'm gonna wanna punch every time I see him
So far, I've been pretty on the dot.

We just know that she apparently loves her sister and is up for going to the mall? XD she seems normal, which is nice, imo. As much as I would hate for anyone to get in the way of my Noex pairing(thatwillnevercanonizeCRIES), writing her off as annoying marysue already seems a bit much. XD; who knows, she may be an incredibly interesting character or may be someone very valuable later on. Why don't we cheer for her now? Because without her, Holix might have not established without this necessary outreach and endurance of risk from Six. ;3 she's basically the reason they kind of together now. XD |
