Seems one of the points of discussion in a few circles of the GenRex fandom recently is the subject of Cesar and his romantic interests. Some people ship him with Holiday, Van Kleiss, Noah, and even Rex.
It's an interesting prospect to me, because looking at Cesar's personality on the show, I don't know if he has it in him to really pay all that much attention to anything other that his work, so the idea of a romantic pairing for him seems kind of strange to me.
I think he's certainly capable of understanding the concept of romance and those warm fuzzy feelings, but really only on a scientific level through a biological point of view, and not really feeling those things himself.
I genuinely think he's completely asexual, since it seems he's hardly anything but his work, but not a lot of people see it that way. XD But really, maybe it's a possibility? I'm not gonna ask if, as a fandom, we have to ship EVERY SINGLE CHARACTER with someone else, because the answer is obviously yes. XDDD (I mean, I do ship Cesar... But I ship him... with SCIENCE XDDD)
But, I'm curious to your guys' thoughts on the subject, whether you ship him with anyone or not. For those of you who ship Cesar with someone, why? What do you think would make Cesar be attracted to this person romantically?

I ship him with science too......Or with Rex but in a family way.

I also ship him with SCIENCE. The Jonathan Coulton version of "Still Alive" makes me think of Caesar every time: "There is science to do!"

Joining the shipping him with science ship. I can't see Cesar as really being involved with anyone in any romantic way, his entire character would have to do a complete 180 to make it work.

Complete fannon fantasy- I like the possible tension and dynamic between him and BK. Could I ever see it happening in cannon, hell no. I'm like you in that point Sir. I don't see him being the relationship type. Realistically, me thinks procreation would only happen with him as an experiment or to test a hypothesis- but only if it was relevant to him. Never mind any other aspects of a relationship. Cesar's too....analytical? Is that the word I'm looking for.
But on a spoof level- yes. I ship him with BK. Because I just want to. ^_^ Although...I can't see them ever being in an actual realtionship. More of an
"Oh my god! You are irritating."

"Shs!" *walks off*
As far as Cesar/Holiday- no..never too much intelligence there. All work.
Cesar Vk- eh... I like this only because VK is such a b*stard- and it doesn't feel so pedoish. ><
Cesar/Rex........can I say for one moment that this should NEVER be a pairing. Incest is WRONG! W*R*O*N*G. It's disgusting on so many levels and not to mention this turns Cesar into a pedofile, a monster, and a whole bunch of other things that I probably shouldn't say on this board. I can NOT stomach incest pairings. EVER. They literally make me sick. IT doesn't matter the context or how well it is written it's the fact that you are pairing ONE SIBLING with another- or worse parents with children or some other freaky awful combination of same blood action going on. You cannot change my mind on this. Do not suggest I read something or I haven't read anything good- if you do, you will probably get a rant back- the likes of which you have never seen and Little really needs to shut up before I get reported to the mods. *sits down and shuts up*

How about shipping Cesar (I'm sticking stubbornly to the Spanish variant) with the Goddess of Science? She's someone I made up in my head just now. I can imagine her as Aphrodite's twin sister, who largely favours smartypants.

I think Caesar would be the nerdy boyfriend who is really dense concerning the relationship in general, but is very caring when he tries. I can see him taking people on dates to science conventions and spending the whole time geeking out.
