MoA, if you lurk on these boards, you'd better be reading this: When I saw "Mind Games" ep. yesterday, this picture kept haunting me:  Now why? Because this is Holix in a nutshell: They beat around the bush but dare not take it any further. It the never ending Mulder and Scully relationship, where they both KNOW that they are made for each other, yet none of them dare to take the first more. So, let's analyze the possible outcomes: Outcome 1: The same beating-around-the-bush-Holix will continue, until in the very last epic episode of the finale of the series, when they kiss and declare their undying love for each other. The Holix fangirls finally get what they have been always waiting for. Outcome 2: Soon, Six or Holiday finally consider to step up their relationship and to declare their undying love for each other. The happily-ever-after scenario follows shortly, probable marriage and kids. No sexual tension anymore. Agent Six becomes family man. Yaaaawn... Outcome 3: Remember in one of the past episodes, when Rex said to Six "Don't wait too long?". Well, exactly. If Six or Holiday beat around the bush for too long, a new character might be introduced, who will capture either Six' or Holiday's attention (you're taking notes, MoA?). When this happens, either Six or Holiday must step up their advances, otherwise it WILL be too late. Outcome 4: Either Six or Holiday die in an EVO attack and never get a chance to reveal their feelings to each other. End of story. So. As I analyze here, we have 4 possible outcomes. Which one do you think it will be? Your thoughts? |

Well, my personal favorite option is a new guy coming in and being very personable with Holiday, jealous!Six ensues, then leading to him getting veryvery close to saying something and making the tension multiply tenfold and then option 1 comes in. Buuuttt i have a thing for love triangles so w/e

Honestly, I wouldn't mind seeing it stay low key, none of this nonsense about declarations of undying love, but I'm biased against anything overly romantic when I'm not watching soaps. What I want to see is some drama unfold between them, as a couple and the whole group as a team, based on what happened with the shapeshifter.

Aenrhien is right, neither Holiday or Six seem like the declaration of undying love type. It appears that they're going to keep playing with the whole "They like each other but refuse to admit it" thing. Therefore -in my head at least- the first outcome is the most likely. Haven't watched Mind Games yet, does this shapeshifter threaten Holix?

I think Six and Holiday have been together so long that no one else new who could enter into the mix now would draw them apart. They've invested so much into each other and into Providence. Even if they never get together romantically, they rely on each other for other things as well, and if nothing else lasts, Rex is the one constant in their life.
And I'm pretty sure he doesn't want or would let his family unit break apart. He's pretty persistent about everything, especially if he feels it's the right thing.

Personally, I'd love so see a Love Triangle with some hot guy who catches Holiday's attention or say... some hot new female Agent who catches Six' attention. And let the whole thing play out.

Y'know, I never pegged either of them for the "declaration of love"-type, but Riddle of the Sphinx kind of says otherwise 0: Though that confession wouldve been so awkward xD maybe he was just gonna kiss her there ugh //wanna knoooww// But anyways I wouldn't want a definitive triangle, like, Holiday actually falling for another guy (more like Six thinking she is  ). Just something like...Callan maybe finally joining up with them (cuz I adore Caliday XD), and maybe saving Holiday in some situation where Six felt he should've been there. or, outside of a danger situation...maybe Six would just see how casual Holiday is around another guy when it took all these past six/eight/whatever months to get that close to her. BBBUUTT I dunno maybe I'm deluding myself as usual and I just wanna see Callan again. And I want Six to get jealous. Jealousy is niiceee. He seemed a little put-off by Moses at first (like, before he had any reason to XD) so omgah |

I don't really want a triangle at this point. There are only a few episodes left, and I wouldn't be able to buy anything in that respect. It wouldn't be realistic to me.
