White and Holiday

NONO not as a couple (though go with it if you want, I'm a big fan of crack ships), but I just think their relationship is really, really interesting.

I mean, first thoughts towards one another [on screen, anyway] are "Bleeding heart" and "hopeless". For the entirety of season one, it's obvious they can't stand one another [mostly from Holiday's end, but we all know he found her particularly annoying when it came to almost everything].

Realistically speaking, if it weren't for her and Rex, White wouldn't be how he is; but whatevz, that pole up his butt first and [most of] second season had to go eventually. Poor Six, caught in the middle of all this.

ANYWAYS so then now we see them working together really well. And there's so little canon non-professional interactions between them and it bothers me 'cause I wanna know...what it's like! I can't imagine they sat down and talked out their differences, and what they've been through would be so difficult to just...ignore and put past each other. Though maybe they could do it I dunno.

SO this came about while watching "Heroes United", and I wondered if White had ever even acknowledged the "thing" between Holiday and Six throughout the show and then I saw that part where White says "I hate kids", then looks over at Holiday silently as she's staring at Six's image and I just became totally curious as to what was going through his head. Or if he said something like "you can go to him, I'll stand guard" or ughh

It's just, yknow, White doesn't seem all that romantic; though it's nice to imagine he had a wife at some point in his life, more I dunnnooos.

ANYWAYS I think I've rambled enough about that. So yeah. Sorry. I wanted to put this somewhere XD

They seem like grudging allies. As in "I don't like you but I have to work with you so lets do what we have to do and go back to mutual annoyance with each other after we've saved the world".

White is the sort of guy who can ignore personal issues to get the job done. And while Holiday is a touch more emotional she also understands the importance of what they are doing. Added to the fact that White Knight has been getting steadily more tolerable as the show goes on, the way they interact (Very little and as politely as possible) doesn't seem to far fetched.

It is quite difficult to imagine them as a couple.

Grudging allies seems like the best thing that they are, and even more so because they originally had completely opposing views but were forced to work together in the circumstances that they found themselves in. Eventually, we see this working partnership that they have as Rebels. Quite fascinating.

It would be kinda sweet if White did some small thing for Holiday and Six, like discreetly drawing the attention of the press at the end when the rebels win and interviews are being given, so that the two can slip off alone.

Apparently I can imagine White and Holiday as a couple because this struck me last night.

So White and Holiday were going out shortly before Rex was found but broke up due to general inability to work together. That's why their first onscreen comments about one another are so rude. Each blames the other for the brevity of their relationship. Six being Six did not even realize his partner had been dating, and still doesn't know about the short-lived romance.

I hate my brain for giving me this.
