In the second episode, I noticed that Tenzin has Katara's eyes. I love how subtle Bryke is sometimes.  And I just watched the newest trailer. Any doubts that I had about this show being as awesome as ATLA have vanished completely! |

I'm seriously hoping there's not going to be any love interest for Korra at all, but since they're already hitting us with the brick wall that is Makorra, I doubt that'll happen.  Anyone happen to notice that Mako's eyes are golden colored? Back in the first one, the only firebenders with golden eyes were the royal line, so it's possible Mako is descendent from Zuko or Azula. |

I'd be pretty happy if Korra didn't have a love interest. But, let's face it: She's the main female. Females ALWAYS get love interests and main females DEFINITELY do. I have yet to see a kid/teen series where the main female isn't paired off by the end.

I don't think we ever saw benders intermingling like that in the first series, so we don't know if it did or not. There's also the potential that one or both of them is adopted.
So many possibilities.. think I'll save all my theorizing until after I have more source material to theorize on. XD
