Tahno frowned, trying to decided what kind of answer Nipo wanted, "Yes. I was broke and no where wanted to hire some swamp kid who had no marketable skills but looking pretty."

Rina scoffed at him, "You're the most impossible man I have ever met." She grinned though, despite the mild insult. Suddenly this trial date was feeling more and more like an actual date.

Eri grinned, "Good!" She brought him up into the house, calling to see if anyone else was home. "My books are in my room. Why don't I make us some tea and we can study in there?" She offered, biting her bottom lip.

Tahno nodded, "It was, for a while. But then I realized I could sell my bending instead, and it got better."
