(For no other reason than I am bored and the Open RP seems to have teetered off into nothing)
Nipo kicked the rock as he shoved his hands in his pockets. He didn't WANT to go to the University. He looked up at the court yard as various benders scattered about. "Oh you'll be fine, son." He muttered in a high pitched tone. "Your brother went there and he turned out just fine." He grumbled. "Blurg.'" The non-bender grumbled again.

Eri sat down at the fountain, her nose buried in another text book, studying for her next exam she just knew she was going to flunk. She always studied better at the fountain, but with so many people and couples all talking and giggling and fawning over each other, and her mind still on her ex-boyfriend, she wasn't going to get anything done.

Nipo stumbled foward when a ball of water hit him in the back of the head. He wiped the water out of his eyes that dripped down his hair. Turning he frowned at the water benders.
"Oh come on- you should have felt that coming!" The taller one laughed.
Nipo grumbled and shook his head flinging the water off of him and kept walking.
The short stout one shook his head. "What? You leave your swim suit at home?" he pulled water from the fountain and formed a ball. "Watch this Tikin."

Eri yelped as water was suddenly bent behind her, and she dropped her textbook into the fountain. "Not again!" She lifted her hands, bending the book out of the water and trying to bend it off before the water and the ink blended together. "I'm never going to be able to afford another book!"

Nipo managed to dodge- this one. He spun to the sided and glared at the two. "What is you guys problem?" He snapped- his ice colored eyes not pleased in the least.
Tikin glanced at Eri and moved his hand to help her pull the water from the book. He glanced up at the pissed off Northerner. "Hey it's not our fault you didn't throw it back."
Nipo frowned. "I'm a non-bender." He snapped.
Tikin and Bolu almost fell out laughing.

Eri frowned, "Tikin don't be so rude! You didn't even start bending until you were fourteen and you're making fun of him for being born not bending?" She grabbed her bag, pushing the thick dark brown hair that fell out of the ponytail from her face. "You could be less of a jerk for ten minutes you know and it won't kill you."

Tikin stopped laughing and looked at Eri. "What's he doing here? This is a bending university."
Bolu held his sides as he howled in laughter.
Nipo frowned and turned walking on towards the door. What he wouldn't have given to be a fire bender at that very moment and light those guys up.

Eri put her fist on her hip. "It is not. There's plenty of courses that don't involve bending. Geez you two are such jerks!" She moved her other hand, snapping a small water whip against the back of Bolu's head. "Stop laughing you sound like a hyena-snake."

Tikin smirked as she hit Bolu and made him stop. He looked back at her with dark blue eyes. "Okay Eri, name ONE non-bender you know that goes here?"
Bolu rubbed his head. "Yeah most of them go to Avatar Memorial"

Eri narrowed her sea-blue eyes, "Well him for one." She paused, trying to think of another one she knew. It took a moment, but she snapped, bouncing when it came to her, "Um... oh! Professor Sui is a non-bender! He teaches arithmetic!"

Tikin gave her a flat look. "And you know that no-body?" he snorted. "Professor's don't count. How many students do you know?"
Bolu rubbed his head. "Oh leave her alone Tikin. She's still broody over Loji."
Nipo walked into his first course and sat at the back of the glass. He was the first one there. Great. He pulled his schedule from his pocket. "In depth study of the hundred year war."

Eri shot Bolu a murderous look, "Do not say that name! And I'm not broody!" She spun on Tikin, "And maybe if you weren't such a bully we would know him! You two aught to apologize."

Bolu frowned. "Lojilojilojiloji." He snorted and shook his head. "I'm not gonna apologize to no Northerner. Especially one that can't even bend."
Tikin smirked at her. "Oh yeah- I saw you just chomping at the bit to go talk to him." He shrugged. "I'll leave him alone but I'm not going to appologize."

Eri stomped her foot, "I broke up with him! And you two are such jerks! I'm going to class." She huffed, adjusting her bag on her shoulder. "And I'm not making you two dinner unless you apologize. So nah!" She turned around, pushing her hair out of her face again.

Tikin laughed as she hurried off. Bolu frowned. "No dinner?"
Professor Kuriso walked in and looked at his class. There were only three students there so far. The rest would file in before the hour came up.

And I did eventually finish my thesis, if anyone was wondering
