He smiled and nodded. He leaned back listening to the teach carefully. He rambled on and on and ....on.... and on again.

Eri thought her head was going to explode as she scratched down notes that would be too unintelligible to study with later anyway.

Loji strode into the room, late as he could be, a pretty firebender girl on his arm. He shot a look at Eri and narrowed his eyes.

Nipo arched an eyebrow at the man......he didn't recognize him. He glanced at his brother and he didn't give the man a second look. Ah...must not be that important of a bender. He leaned back his arms crossed over his chest. "Someone you know?" He whispered.

Eri had stopped writing and was gripping her pencil to the point where it was bending. "Ex-boyfriend. Less than three days and he's already got a new girl hanging off his arm." The pencil snapped in her grip as she glared at Loji.

Loji smirked, it was fun to make girls squirm.

[Little]

Nipo frowned at Loji and leaned back putting his arm behind her. "He's a jerk." He said and rubbed her arm lightly. He looked over at Loji and gave him a smirk.

Eri looked over at Nipo and raised an eyebrow mumbling, "What are you doing?"

Loji frowned and sneered at Nipo, guiding his new girlfriend to a seat near his friends.

Nipo smiled and took his arm back once Loji's back was turned. "Fighting fire with fire." He whispered back. "He was trying to get to you. Don't let him." He said softly and crossed his arms back over his chest.

Eri smiled lightly, "You aren't so bad Nipo."

[Little]

He smiled. "Thanks. So what kind of bender is he?"

[Purple-Cat-Princess]

Eri sighed, digging through her bag for another pen. "He's an earth-bender, but he has this thing about never dating earth benders. He says they're too stubborn. Just last week he was telling me how he had never really thought of dating a water bender until he met me." She swallowed. "He's an earth bender."

[Little]

Nipo shrugged. "I don't see much difference between the different elements." He frowned. "He looks like a loser to me. I'm betting you left him, am I right?"

Eri sighed, giving up on notes. "Sort of."

[Little]

Nipo nodded. "You're better off without him then."

The class droned on. But finally the teacher started erasing the blackboard. The other students started milling about.

Eri sighed, "I suppose so... I mean, it's not like we dated for six months or anything, and it's not like I miss him or anything, or am totally jealous of this gal he's dating. Geez there I go again, telling my life's story to people I barely know... but this class always feels like an eternity..."

[Little]

Nipo shook his head. "Hey no worries." He looked up as Yume came over. He gave him a slap on the back and looked at Eri. He gave her a smile.

"This knucklehead giving you trouble?" He asked- his gold eyes glittering.
