Anyone out there want to weigh in? I don't do slashes or lemons so that isn't the issue. I am just curious which one more people are on. Which one gets more feedback? Easier to use?

God I feel old, I haven't heard someone call them lemons in actual years. xD
Anyways, I prefer AO3 myself, as the tag system and search filters make it so much easier to find things I want to read and hide the things I don't. Plus the kudos system makes feedback much more consistent, since people are happy to click the button to leave kudos instead of leaving comments. Loads of people complain about that, but honestly, you could stand in a puddle of me and barely wet your shoes when it comes to how shallow I am about feedback. I squeal at people over getting kudos all the time.
So FFn certainly has more people on it and posting is slightly less complicated, but they aren't consistently leaving feedback in my experience. AO3 is a bit more complicated to post to, but all the extra fields to fill out to post a story on AO3 make it much easier for readers to find what they're looking for, so I would consider it a fair trade-off.
I crosspost to both when I remember to, that way everyone's happy. Except for me, because I never remember to crosspost.
(EDIT: Also, if you do decide to sign up for AO3, inbox me first either here or on FFn, I can shoot you an invite code since I dunno if they're still doing the registration queue thing or not.)
