*points to earlier post* Evo-Noah was MOVING UNDER HIS OWN POWER. While evo's can get pretty fast, I'd say (from watching him lead Rex around) his maximum speed was about 20-30 miles an hour. Yes, but they weren't at Providence HQ to begin with. Six dropped them off to the docks with his Jump Jet and then EVO Noah ran from the docks into the city. New York just also seems to be a place where they have lots of EVO sightings. It a humongous city with TONS of people, so the randomization of people going EVO is greater than other places. Makes sense that they are fighting there frequently. Also, It seems like Noah probably lives on the West Coast..probably Cali, because in Operation Wingman, when they go to prom, the scenery looks very much like So cal with desert cliffs and an ocean. For that Deathbunny EVO to chase Rex to there would mean that HQ was somewhere in the SouthWest (Cali, Arizona, or New Mexico). And in both episodes (Wingman and Robobobo) Rex was fighting the Deathbunnies in the desert just outside of HQ base. |

This raises confusion, as I'm fairly certain VK and the pack were shown walking on what looked like Providence headquarters while at the docks. Though, there was water there, which there isn't at PHQ, so either this is an animation error or that thing in the back ground was a carrier ship of some kind. I'm going to have to watch this episode again to be sure, but I stand by the fact that the old woman appeared in both "Rampage" and "Moonlighting"

I've definitely got the sense that they are either in Arizona or New Mexico given the whole 'badlands" thing. I also entertained the notion that they could be based in the actual badlands of South Dakota, but this doesn't work because they are often near the ocean in some eps. that are clearly located near the base (i.e. "Operation: Wingman"). Rex mentioned that Providence jets are pretty fast, so it doesn't really surprise me that they end up in places like New York often enough.
As for the old lady - yeah, that was a continuity breach in "Moonlighting," but I just took that as minor character recycling. Remember the target audience is skewed towards young teen boys - this audience generally doesn't care so much about minor character recycling:-) And nobody jump on me - I said GENERALLY!:-)

The one in "Rampage" (that got Six's cell number - ROFL) was a different lady:-) As for the docks, you're right - they we're unloading Providence equipment at what looked like docks that were similar to the ones where the main EVO fight went down in "Hunter." But they weren't at Providence base - they had one of the large transport jets (one of the Helicarriers - I don't think it was big enough to be the Keep) that Holiday and the Providence red shirts were loading equipment onto:-) |
