To get to know each other a little better, I decided to make this thread (but mostly out of sheer boredom).
What do you guys think is the scariest thing ever?
Anything. Traumatizing event, hideous things or creatures or whatever. No one is allowed to make fun of each other, 'kay? No matter how stupid the fear is. We all have something we're scared of, we might as well share them and let others help us.
You guys can give advice on how to help get rid of the fear if you want.
Who wants to start?
I will!
I'm scared of dolls. Specifically, that doll from Child's Play, Chucky. No one better not post a picture of him. I'm gonna hate you forever if you do. I'm serious about this

For me it's:
Giant Squid. (Blame 20,000 Leagues and Sphere) Weird, because I love octopi. Eating them, drawing them, looking at them.
The dark. 'Nuff said.
Putting my back to anything but a wall or corner. >>>example: Sitting with my back to a dark jungle/forest/room. Sitting with my back to a crowd (front of the class/church/movie) Giving speeches.- Ohgawd. Unless I was teaching a class about GenRex, or Star Wars, or X-Files, or Harry Potter. Y'know, anything I know an unhealthy amount about.
Tsunamis.- This goes way before the Japan crisis. I'm from Guam, an island in the Pacific, and every day I would pass by this strip of low lying area next to the ocean and this terrifying fear grips my gut when ever I look at it. It's beautiful, but my mind automatically imagines the shoreline receding and giant unrelenting waves. Because of this, I have frequent, recurring tsunami nightmares.
Zombies- It's foolish, I know, but as much as I love Resident evil and zombie gore games, I get recurring zombie nightmares as well. In the back of my mind, I've planned out my actions for an impending theoretical Zombie Apocalypse.
>>>Regenerators (Resident Evil 4) and Redead (Legend of Zelda games)- These Mofos get a separate tab, because something about that breathing and screaming absolutely paralyzes me to the point I don't want to play absolutely awesome games that I have beaten many times.
Dolls and Clowns- Apparently this is a fear I've had since before I could talk. My cousin wants told me that Cabbage patch Kids came alive at night. Also, my sister had a demonic Ferbie that spoke when I know I took out the batteries. Also, my aunt once got me a life-size doll for my birthday. Not cool when coming home and you turn on the lights. Or when your eyes play tricks at night when going to bed.
Germs- Lastly, I am an extreme mysophobe. I wash my hands at least 20 times daily. It's not that I don't like to get dirty (because I do, I really do. I'm an outdoorsy kinda girl), as long as I can just get clean. This means no touching doorknobs, railings, elevator buttons, keypads, money, unless necessary, and NO sleeping in hotel beds ever.

I HATE those creatures! Hate them hate them hate them. Rocket launcher takes care of the Regenerators and I try to go out of my way to stay away from the 'humpers' as my brother calls them. And on the putting your back to things- me too. It's not really a fear more of a comfort stand point. I want my back against something solid. And when sleeping my back does NOT face the door. It faces the wall or the biggy.

What I really hate about dolls are the ones that when you lie them down, their eyes are gonna close. What if the doll was lying down then the eyes are open. Now THAT'S scary!!!

hm, needles don't bother me (I get jabbed enough that it's normal) But I'm a hypochondriac, so I'm always sick with like most of the side affects.
Fears? hm, dying a slow and painful death? Going off a cliff into the ocean (I'm on an island, and I'm surrounded by water and cliffs) Actually falling into any bed of water in a car.

......THAT IS A GOOD REASON DD.... THE DARK HIDES SCARYS.
Im also afraid of flushing toilets (When i was little i thought the sound was a monster growling, and i just never quite got over it even though i dont believe it anymore.) Hallways. (they are just so....in between. its like limbo. i cant go down one or cross one in the dark. i just cant.) And walking in my yard on new moons. (i dont live terribly far from a cemetairy, and in a new moon i would never see them comming)
So... yea

I'm scared of growing old and not remembering things anymore. Mostly because i'm looking after my grandparents and both of them have dementia. Grandma's easy because she only forgets short term stuff, so you have to tell her things like 3 times but she won't remember anyway, but Granddad...he's called me and my mom (his daughter) his nieces in the past.
I'm also scared of pain, physical pain. Possibly due to when i was a kid, i broke my leg in a game of tag, and the teachers didn't know so they made me walk on the broken bone across the field, over a low wall, up steps and into the office and then the nurse put a bag of ice on it which was even worse (she thought it might be a bruise on the bone) and I remember screaming so much that day until I couldn't scream any more, just sob and whimper and they kept insisting that I was faking, so tried to make me walk up a set of stairs and I couldn't, my leg gave way and I couldn't even scream any more by that point.

It's okay Liz, my leg healed perfectly fine. I recovered and I got a huge apology from the headmistress (she wouldn't call an ambulance so she made me bend my leg at the knee to sit in the back of her car and drove me to the hospital....you should've seen the look on her face when she found out that it was a spiral fracture!) In a way it was a pretty good kick up the butt for me as it taught me to be a lot stronger, made me exercise more, plus I got a lot of presents that month :-p and I got to miss out on sports day which is my least favourite school event, because I was having the plaster cast cut off.

........*growl* No acctually, not ok. in no way was anything about what they did okay. Hunter has broken 3 bones in this school, whenever its something that hurts THAT bad, they are supposed to call an ambulance, or at least your parents to ask if an ambulance should be called. But, maybe things are done differantly over here. but... thats just.. its not right.
