Jumping the gun a bit, since I'm not ENTIRELY certain this is his name...but this thread is dedicated to Caesar (pronounced kai-sahr in Classical Latin) salad, aka Rex's brother. The name "Caesar" is an interesting choice, seeing as this also can mean (the original Latin meaning for "Caesar" is actually "hairy") "King". " Caesar (plural Caesars; Latin: Caesar, plural: Caesares) is a title of imperial character. It derives from the cognomen of Julius Caesar, the Roman dictator. Just from the name, he sounds like a great, furry, tyrannical leader! This makes it sound like he's either going to team up with or over throw Van Kliess. I HIGHLY doubt he's going to be a "good guy" character, and if he is he's going to die quickly. Leaning towards evil twin in this respect, or a non-blood related brother. Either way I feel that they will be close to\the same age. As a villian...Caesar would be the older brother. Even though Avatar: The Last Airbender pulled off a younger sibling in the "villain" role remarkably well (Azula is two or three years younger then Zuko) not many shows have that ability, and go for an older antagonist. I'm mostly exited to know why\how Caesar and Rex were separated. Was it by choice? If so, does Caesar BLAME Rex for what ever happened leading up to the event? Or is he envious of his "Special" brother eating up their parents time? Or, in the unlikely event, are we in store for a teary "I love you bro, missed you SO MUCH" reunion? So much speculation! |

I'm kind of hoping for Caesar to be the evil older brother. Maybe there was some jealousy between the two brothers. Rex could have been the favorite, and Caesar felt left out. So many theories, so little time! Good thing is, the episode airs in two days. ,'  |

that's actually really funny that caesar originally meant hairy...now if ever i go back in time to Rome, and see Julius Caesar, I'll have to cry "Hail...I mean Hair...Caesar!"
but back to the topic in hand...so can't wait to find out if the brother's coming soon...or whether he's like Rex or is a villain. Must admit i can't imagine him being a goodie either, if anything i can imagine him trying to corrupt Rex more successfully than VK ever could.
Could we ever see an Evil Rex just for one episode?? Especially since after all in Rabble it was described how evil he was pre that blackout...

I could imagine his bro being an old and slightly more mature version of him, with a darker demeanor to him. That would be interesting (to me)
I wanna watch this! But since my country isn't even on season 2 yet, I'll have to rely on someone to upload the episode on YouTube, like someone always does.

While a happy reunion would be nice, I'd rather have more plot and tension with this. I agree that Caesar is probably older, but having the long-lost brother as a villain would be kinda...eh... It's been done too many times. I'd rather see something new. OH! I know! Maybe he has gone through even more than Rex and has some psychological problems, like PTSD or something like that. His name makes him sound like a war veteran in a teen or young adult's body. When he and Rex meet, he may keep on lashing out or having flashbacks. I dunno, the Breach episode showed me that MOA is really good with the more disturbed characters and I'd like to see more psychological episodes like that in the future.
Hm...I'm starting to like this better than my Skalamander theory... Though, Skalamander and Caesar...hm...for some reason, I see those names going together sorta...maybe when he went Evo... *goes to the nerd corner to think*
You know, their first meeting could be kinda funny...

Hmm I wouldn't think of him as evil for now. Maybe in the middle? Though if VK ever knew where he was all this time I guess he would have snatched him right away for his army. |D;;
I like to think he might be an older brother, for some reason. Hehe. I don't like the evil twin idea, for some reason. If he is a twin, fraternal twin please? Identical twin (and therefore, palette swap) is just too cheap.
