Heck no. I've got a DBZ -showing my age- fanfic/song fic that is ......monsterous. But it does show how I've improved. Then I quit writing for like .....several months. Then I find GR fanfiction (and this forum) and I have a desire to start writing again....except....it sucks >< So I must practice, more.
Also, I agree with whoever said they would be dead without Holiday. *to lazy to look to see who wrote that* I, for one, am completely stoked that we have a bada** female character that shows that she doesn't have to be saved. She's a genius, she can handle a weapon and herself, she can wear a skirt and have a temper tantrum(Not to mention this chick and like 3 PHD's!)*chest poofs up in feminist pride* We need more womens characters like Doc Holiday.

I don't either. But that's the beauty in being a woman. Sure, she can handle her own most -if not all of the time- but that doesn't mean Six can't 'save' her every once in a while.  |

I'm still waiting for that to happen. I was SO SURE that he was going to swoop in at the end of 'The Swarm'... but no... He probably tried with that mysterious hand-holding thing in 'What Lies Beneath'. But as far as setting his life on the line to protect her, nope we haven't seen that yet... BUTIWANNA! I'm thinking 'Badlands' is going to have some of that (from what I seen of the teaser). You know the 'I'm getting YOU off the ship' thing... can't wait... |

From what I can tell you (about the holx thing)

Anyway, VK is busting into the Keep and Holi gets on the radios (she's in the Keep, too). Six is in his jump jet (not in the Keep).
Holi: "Six!"
Six: "I'm 5 mins out. Prepare for an evac. I'm getting you off the ship."
Don't quote me on that, it's from memory... but yeah.... Holix... GOD I CAN'T WAIT.

Ok ladies I have been kicking around for a few days the idea of giving Holiday a half sibling that shows up as a minor plot point.
They'd not be actually related just step relatives that didn't like each other much growing up.
Anyway I was kicking around the idea of making it Gatlock for comedy value. I'd make his biological father ( Holidays ) stepfather a well connected senator or business man that's been cleaning up after him all his life. Daddy would step in after Providence buts him and White would put Holiday in charge or dealing with the mess because a) she used to know both of them, and b) White wants to be as far away from any trouble step daddys clought might cause.
The issue is complicated ( yes even more ) by the fact taht they need to get information out of gatlock before stepdaddy springs him.
Think this can hold water, or is it too far fetched? Remember its not the A plot of the story jsut background material to give Holiday an "On top of everything else I have to deal with THEM again" moment.

That's interesting. I never really thought about Holiday's family, except for her sis and neglected(?) parents. A good point though.
I was gonna make a fic where Gatlocke storms in Providence to take 'his' nanites and stumbles upon Holiday. Ends up with a kiss between the two and stunned/jealous!Rex and jealous/murdering!Six.
