Really, I think Doctor Holiday is the best female character on the show. In fact, i couls almost say, she is the best female charecter from any show, or at least most of them. She is smart, and strong; but they still let her be attractive. They didn't pull a Velma on her, and it makes her an even more amazing charecter than she already is.

Considering Holiday is one of the very few recurring female characters on the show, it isn't a huge competition there. Overall though, I agree she is one of the best female characters I've seen...and she gets more awesome every time we see her in Providence uniform.
I would like to figure out what her doctorate is in though, nanotech sure, but we see her doing medical work among other things. (I think about these things too much.)

Shes got the same Doctorate as Salomon and Drew Saturday, Professor Utonium, Doctor Jonus Venture, and Doctor Claw SUPER SCIENCE!
Now to be 28ish a Doctor, and the one Knight has working with Rex means shes got to be a genius.
Now I've said this a few times around the board but this is the official Doctor Holiday thread so fan geekery demands repeating it here.
To me Doctor Holiday seems to be designed to be the total contrast to Six. Shes emotionally driven ( always compassionate and remember punching out that computer screen ), used ranged weapons in a fight if she can't think her way out etc.
Beyond that she's equal parts Rex's oh so ever out of reach crush, and surrogate mother figure. Now it is important to note that she seems very emotionally invested in the Rex as a person, and not just for what his nanites can do.
Her sister is is a large nasty spider evo under containment my Providence ( so long as she doesn't kill anyone as per Whits orders ), and spends a free moment every now and again looking in on her.
A hem no Sqeeeeing on this next part Holix fans ( I jsut used that word shot me) The good Doctor seems to fancy the stoic agent Six. The feeling appears to be mutual, but the man in green is a bit reluctant. Why oh why is that ? hint and for shadowing maybe, or Six could jsut be not that good with the ladies.

Up there with Motoko from Ghost In The Shell or Alice from Resident Evil (maybe better than Resident Evil...). She gets bonus points for having a somewhat canon pairing with the ninja. |

I agree with all of the above. Holiday is just so amazing. I always kinda assumed that she wanted to be a Doctor, but got into nanotech instead, so it makes sense that she would know some stuff. and, im assuming that once she found out that she would be taking care of a 14-15 year old boy, she prolly brushed up.

Humm ok aaa that will not happen on a cn show. The best shot Rex has is to cure Holidays sister and hope shes just as pretty.
As for Getting Six's attention all she needs is a boy friend. I bet between becoming a doctor by 28 and trying to fix here sister her social life is probably pretty slim.
God I can't turn off the ideas while im on this board it frecking great! You people keep doing what your doing except for you in the back trying to slip a micky into Sixs coffie he's a ninja that stuff doesnt work on him.

I just meant that he finally gets his blackmail date and she actually enjoys herself or she's flattered by some well placed comment... or she does something to actually try and get Six jealous. Then again, since 'The Forgotten', I highly doubt Six sees Rex as a threat... b/c really, he's not, but it might be different in Six's green mind. I have considered that Callan may be a fun little device in this love... triangular square thing... |
