how long does it take to get a PHD and a MD? cause she said she had 3 PHDs back when six first found rex, presuming noah guessed her present age correctly (that guess being 28), then she had 3 phds when she was 23, is that possible or do you think Noahs guess was off and shes older than she looks.

She's probably a genius. Has to be, to be able to have so much under her belt at such a young age. Triple major with a minor is a$$-kicking. Like Dr. Halsey (from Halo) or Rebecca Chambers (Resident Evil). They graduated college in their mid teens and went off to do awesome things. |

Never ask a ladys age once you get past 18  Umm for real yea shes got show brainic all over her. You dont get to be on project rex if your not the best for the job. |

Lol, this is entirely fiction - It doesn't matter how much of a genius you are. One PhD takes a minimum of five years to complete, typically. And while it is possible to pursue two PhD's at the same time, this is nearly never done - one doctoral program is loaded enough. I'm 3 years into completing my PhD, and I will very likely have 3 more to go. For Holiday to have earned 3 PhDs by age 28, she would have had to graduate from college at roughly 18 - not high school. Yeah, she's a super genius, so maybe she did, but something like .4% of the population have accomplished something like this in reality:-) Med. school is even longer than a PhD:-) Incidently, for any of you "Bones" watchers out there, Dr. Hodgins also has 3 PhDs and he's roughly in his early thirties. I literally LOL'd when I heard this too:-) |

ok so taking that into account and assuming that she graduated highschool at 18 (like normal people) and didnt double up on the classes being taken at once she would have been 33 when Rex first arrived at providence and her current age is 38 (give or take a year or few depending)
lol, my old english teacher told me the "never ask a ladies age" rule too and I still dont get what the big deal is about that, i mean if you dont say then people are just gonna guess anyway
just trying to figure out a rough estimate cause me and my friend have a zillion theories about whats going to happen next but most of them need character ages before we can expand on them or chuck them and between noah guessing 28 and her saying she had 3 PhDs Noahs guess seemed off.

If she was 38, I'd say yeah, that would be possible - insane - but still quite possible for an EXTREMELY motivated, highly intelligent, individual:-) Holiday is certainly these things, but I won't believe for a second that she's supposed to be in her late 30's:-)
Its a cartoon - Holiday can be 28 and have her 3 PhD's and we'll keep loving her for it:-)

thats the thing though it is a cartoon, anything is possible, she might have mastered something to make her look younger for some reason. if she overlapped a couple of courses and graduated highschool early then 32 could also work. but youre right at the end of the day its not going to change anything we will keep loving her for it  |

Wow. School is killing me I couldn't imagine what it would have done to her. Lets see- she would have had to graduated HS around...12 or 13? *headache* I think in one of DD's stories he made her uncle or grandfather Steven Hawking....I would believe it.
