You know, I had a concept for a comedic fanfic where Rex finally clues in to Six having a thing for Holiday and decides to sabotage her date with some other guy -- so he can try to get Six and Holiday hooked up.

I think that it is totally possible that Six has some horrible background where everyone he loved died and even his mentor died in an episode so he might think that by not showing that he loves her (he so does!) he is protecting her. So it is totally possible that they might end up together!
