Seriously though, I've been writing a ton of oneshots lately and I've been neglecting Switch Out and poor, poor, poor, poor Breakeven:SD...
Alright, let's have a vote. I'm about half way done (give or take) with the new chap for Switch Out. Do we want the new chap or the sweet holix oneshot that probably will feature a sick/injured Six AGAIN and a nostalgic Holiday...?
You know what, better question. What's another way for Six to be vulnerable/indisposed without him being sick/drunk/asleep/dying? Let's face it, he's not emotional unless he's messed up lol.
@mac- I cannot wait o.o Your fics tend to be awwwwwwesome. I love the length you put on them and they always seem to surprise about how epic and subtle they are. Btw, weren't you going to add another chapter to that fic for St.Patty's day? I mean, you won XD.

It's a companion piece to my 'prize' art from Sempaiko for winning that contest. This fic has utterly consumed me. I'm really throwing everything I've got into it to try and do it justice. Including a Lime, God help me I couldn't resist. |

Ok, Tessa's ficlet "My heart will go on, Titanic" just sent my brain into a Holix tailspin:-) There's been a lot of discussion that Holiday and Six might have actually had 'something' going on briefly before the first episode. The theory has been that Six and Holiday were getting closer, but then something happened that freaked Six out, and he flew back into his shell, trying to push her away for her own good. I submit to you, a fabulous 'what if' of a different nature:-) WHAT IF Six and Holiday bonded a little over Holiday's crisis with her sister turning EVO? We know Six has a soft spot - especially for Holiday. What if Six started to let that shell of his down a little to offer some comfort and support to a grieving Holiday? Maybe they got close and something else happened that pushed him away from her. OR perhaps, as Holiday started to come out of her grief, Six started to go back into his shell, thinking she really didn't need so much support anymore BUT Holiday in the process had fallen for him, and following that is when her flirtations with him began. This is all assuming that Holiday's sister came to Providence after Rex showed up. It's conceivable that Rex never knew about Holiday's sister because either Holiday or White wanted to keep that hush-hush. I could actually see Six breaking out of his shell for her in this type of scenario because Six understands the pain of having a loved one turn EVO (i.e. One). He could have been feeling some real empathy for her, just enough to let himself connect with her in the process. That and....she's hot. C'MON SIX! This would make an AWESOME one-shot fic! Actually, I have a really small piece of fluff for it right now, but it's still developing... |
