So what do we think about the WK? What's his family like? Does he have one? How did he get mixed up in the whole Providence thing? And how did he meet Six?
This is the place for that type of discussion ^_^

He probably did have his own family. A normal, happy one at that. I somewhat pictured him as a good family man and breadwinner. Maybe 2 or 3 kids. A strict but caring and slightly gentle father, he was. And had a loving wife
And then BOOM...
It went away during The Event
As for ending up in Providence, I think it was because of his anger towards EVOs which might've had a connection with how his family went down. He went up in ranks, and that's how he got partnered up with Six
That's how I pretty much pictured it...

that makes sense, he reminds me of nearly every principle Ive ever had, strict and comes across as a total jerk even though in his own stubborn kinda weird way hes just trying to do whats best for a majority of the people hes in charge of looking after hurting a minority in the process but ultimately doing what he truely believes is best in the long run. his decisions arent always the most compassionate course of action but the guy is incharge of saving the human race, rex is a cure but he can only do so much, and untill a better cure is made hes got to keep the human race from going evo and hes got to do it by himself. when he ordered new york to be bleached he was forced to sacrifice its population to save the world, if rex failed to get through to the evo they would have eventually taken over the world, and rex is a teenager, if you were in control of the whole thing and things were about to go terribly wrong on a global scale and the only chance it could work out ok relied on a teenager i can see why hed be against taking that risk.
not to mention the guy has no human contact, hes the only pure human but hes still human. No one no matter who they are or what theyve done is all bad, theyre just human everyone needs to be loved and feel wanted, whites got it tough, he has to make tough decisions and remain strong and in control but hen the night comes he would be in his box alone with no one to talk to just thinking about the stuff hes done and if the guilt gets too much he hasnt got anyone to make him feel better about it but he cant do anything about it cos hes the one they rely on to stay in control he tells the grunts what to deal with while rex deals with the stuff the grunts couldnt.
long story short the more I think about it the more I feel bad for the dude, its easy enough to hate him with a passion but i dunno, If I was friendless and family less with the weight of the world on my shoulders and no one to turn to when things got tough I wouldve cracked the day I had to kill a few to save a million.
