We know that VK and Caesar obviously know each other, and Vk keeps teasing us wtih Rex's past. But what about him? We know nothing about his past other than he was a lab hack and was around at the event- and all that that entails.

mmmm there was one might have gotten moved or trashed during matnince... Might start one cause i know a lot bout Snape ( and HP in general) and well...i might be a little...or a lot obssed with this show.

It's clear that VK had a past with the Salazars. I'm sure he used to have a close relationship with them especially Caesar, who he clearly is in love with in my fangirl mind. I agree that he may have been in love with Violetta or Caesar and is a little touchy-feely with Rex because of a family resemblence to Caesar.
