Stupid snow...
So even though we don't normally get snow until december where i live, we got EIGHT inches today. I had to go out and clear the snow off all of our trees during the 'blizzard', and then I had to walk the neighbors dog. I was freezing cold and wet, and it's not even November yet. What a great winter this will be.

Green Lantern vs Thor

I am stumped utterly stumped.

I can't fathom how a story that has a very predictable plot, a Mr. Pissy for it's main character (That is a GOD OF THUNDER) and a story-line that made me stand up and leave for ten minutes in the hopes of something interesting happening when I come back. Would get a higher review than another film which actually kept me interested and was just a lot more solid.

Green Lantern actually had character development people! Thor did not! It was sooooooooooooooo predictable! I actually said the dialogue before it was used in the movie.

Word for word.

Okay... crap... maybe I'm being a little over critical.

I mean thor did have its good moments?

A god living with the mortal (no predictable plot there)

Loki's teary eyes 24/7.

He was the god of mischief and LIES. Not a teary eyed baby who looked a lot more needy than powerful and cool. Like I remember him from the comics.

I know he's still young, but dammit.

And Green Lantern? it wasn't perfect, but a sh*t lot better than the vomit pile that Thor chucked up. Could they just weedle in a few more Facebook references? Oh, oh! And let's make people from 'Asgard' talk fleunt english and have a british accent!

Rather let him talk the way he talked in the comics! That was epic!

Green Lantern? I frggin loved it!

Yes people I am NOT being run of the mill. I am telling you that I loved a movie that got a 27% rating on the rotten tomato meter. I loved, loved that movie. It reminde med why I read them when I was younger and it let me think of a superman thrown in a star wars universe!

Two of my favourites mixed together!

I loved the characters, the lore, the story and just the feel it gave off was awesome.

I loved this movie. I loved the comic and I love ya DC!

I need to express my distaste for something stupid. When people type in title case. Like in a facebook status, or a whole friggin story. It causes me rage.
