So I just had the most awesome. Morning. EVAR. Whoo! First the new My Little Pony episode, then the new GenRex episode! I am in cartoon show HEAVEN right now! I went from Rainbow Dash holding a flying race to Rex competing in a motorcycle race, and WOW. I am so excited right now.
Okay, main thing-- Doublebuildsdoublebuildsdoublebuildsdoublebuildsholycrapdoublebuilds. Did I mention I'm excited about double builds?
Secondary main thing-- What's with Six? No more mention of memory loss? Do they actually plan to go anywhere with that subplot, or what?
And, of course, the bizarre absence of Noah. Though I do recall that, last time we checked, he was employed by Providence. Did Black Knight sack him when she took charge, or what? Because if not, that kinda makes you wonder what they're using him for. Wish they wouldn't keep us hanging with that; kid's in the opening, for God's sake.
Also, that Chekhov's Army that Rex seems to be building just grows every day, doesn't it? Now we have bikers to add to the Hong Kong gang, EVO shapeshifter-wolves, possibly even under-the-sea EVOs if MoA decides to bring them back too, and pretty much everyone else they've met. I'm thinking climactic battle, Ultimate Showdown of Ultimate Destiny. All goodies versus all baddies. Hell, the Biker gives the baddies another guy, too.

*currently fighting off a ferocious bunny and unable to respond to how this filler's greatest weakness was the fact that it was right after heavy plot and left many questions unanswered*

Yeah ...I'm kind of got that feeling of being rode hard and put up wet. No satisfaction here. > kinda aggravating. Six seems to be back to normal, Noah is no where to be seen. Holiday and Six and White just up and leaves their job, we have yet to see anyone else in this huge dam base- which is literally a dam base. Bobo's been staying out every night and we don't know why. White hasn't made an appearance again and I think he should- he needs to explain WTF is going on. Rex is just perfectly fine with the change in everything and doesn't seem a bit bothered by the fact that his brother is on the other side. Six didn't retain any of that smirking-ness though he did crack a small smirk at the race and he stole a nacho from Bobo.

I don't think that it's unreasonable that they haven't really mentioned Six's memories lately. I mean, six months has gone by, and he was obviously trying to be "normal" in L&L in which they made a point of pointing out the memory loss. A half of a year is enough time for him to have been caught up to speed on necessary things and Six doesn't strike me as the kind to go around mentioning his own personal "weaknesses" when there's work to be done. He knows who everyone is now, so I'm thinking it'll only be brought up if he starts remembering something important, or if they meet someone he wasn't told about.
And on a lighter note, totally loving Holiday's new outfit too! Wonder what inappropriate one-liners are flying through Six's head now? XD

The benefits in not working for a professional organization. So no longer has to wear a skirt or the lab coat. ^_^ She traded it in for a pair of pants, a vest and two ...pairs of gloves for some reason. But hey- She kept the orange shirt and she looks to die for (always has but now wowza)

Actually, now that I think about it when Six says "What have I been teaching you?" I'm pretty sure that was a reference to his memory loss. As it's stated as a question more then a way to get Rex motivated.

Yeah, one of the things I was looking for was the part of L&L that I really liked: there was a certain level of tension between Holiday and Six, and really everyone and Six (but mainly Holiday), where they seemed to be unsure of where they stood with each other. Six didn't know where he stood with everyone because he doesn't remember, and the rest of them (read: Holiday) didn't know where they stood with him because it was like they were meeting him for the first time, this new Six that they knew next to nothing about (or at least even less than before). Just look at the part where Six was confiding in Holiday about his misgivings concerning White: there was this clear awkwardness between them, as they weren't sure how they were supposed to act to one another, and it was only exacerbated by their mutual attraction. I personally found it an engaging interaction between them.
I guess this is one of the things I don't like about the idea of the six-month timeskip. Don't get me wrong, it's a great plot device and I like how they're taking it and running with it rather than going with a cop-out, but I guess that, since a passage of six months is a perfectly logical reason for them to be over that tension, we don't get to see their development out of it, I would've liked to see that, because one of the things I love most about well-put-together shows like this is watching how the characters grow.
Maybe they'll throw us a flashback episode or something. Y'know, once they're through with the whole GenRex/Ben10 crossover thing. (Which looks pretty awesome and I'm excited about it, despite the fact that I've never seen an episode of Ben 10 in my life.)
