For some reason people I know seem to think this is going to be filler... but I only consider "filler" episodes the "funny" ones. I'm looking forward to this, it'll be the first episode including the new Providence and their underground operation.

Hm... *nods* This was a decent episode and it actually had a point. Let's look at the pros and cons...
First of all.... OMG! *fangirls* I'm in love! I'm now fully okay with Sqwydd being with Circe! That lead biker, Moss (Moth? My dog started barking at something during that scene... It's either Moss or Moth...) is SUPERFREAKINGHAWT! I call dibs on him right now! EEEK! ^o^
And also, it was good to see that this episode had a point: giving Rex DOUBLE BUILDS! That was pretty sweet!
That biker dude....was creepy. That whole scene with him drinking moldy tea from a moldy cup...eh... *shudders* Something about that freaked me out.
Another pro? SWAT SIX!!!! ...That is all. ^_^
On to the cons... First, are we gonna get ANY info on Six's situation? He seemed to be acting like the Six we all know. Are his memories back? Has he sobered in the past three months? What bothers me the most is this: If Six is going back to normal, is MOA just gonna not have him regain his memories? I'm sorry, but that would be completely unsatisfying...
Second, WHERE IN THE FROSTY NINTH CIRCLE IS NOAH?!?!?!?!?!?!?! Are we gonna get ANY mention of him? Where has he been? How has he been affected by his best friend's absence? WHY hasn't Rex mentioned him yet?!?!?!
Third, and this is minor, why didn't Bobo use his awesome guns while in the bike race? I was totally expecting him to...
All in all, nice episode. I just hope my unanswered questions are answered soon... (and that we see Moss again sometime SOON! :3)

The moral of this episode is, "Kids, don't use drugs nanites to enhance your performance motorcycles."
Also holy upgrade, Holiday! I LOVE the new look. Six had his mercenary suit tailor hook her up And Swat!Six is finally a permanent fixture! MY PRAYERS HAVE BEEN ANSWERED!!!!!
Plus, Rex can now dual wield builds thanks to daddy Six lighting a fire under his butt:-)
Not bad, Eugene Son. Not bad:-)

Finally, true double builds! That is going to lead to so much awesomeness...though I predict that like in the beginning of season 1, his builds sometimes destabilized, double builds need more concentration, and may fail more often than his single builds do now. I wonder if orange scheme is compatible with blue scheme builds... Now I want to see The Boogie Pack and the Hoverboard together...maybe he can go super fast? Or punk busters and smack hands.
Though question, I know there was mention of a split second double build in an earlier episode, what was it, and when?

It was the Punk Busters and Smack Hands, back in Without a Paddle. The scene after the twins smack the ball through the ceiling, he's using the Smack Hands to hold his giant paddle and the Punk Busters to jump.
As yummy as SWAT!Six is, I don't really want to see him all the time unless flightsuit!Six becomes to SWAT!Six what SWAT!Six was to suit!Six. Holiday's new outfit is also delicious, though SWAT!Holiday (this is what I'm calling Providence uniform Holiday now) was equally as delicious, if not more so, and should happen again at least once.

What I mean is like when SWAT!Six showed up, awesome was about to happen, but now he's going to be around all the time most likely, so it's going to lose a bit of its yum factor. I'll be just a little disappointed if flightsuit!Six doesn't take up the role SWAT!Six used to play, or maybe suit!Six will take up the role of occasional eye candy. Love episodes that manage to be funny without being completely random. ^_^ Can't wait to see what happens in the crossover, and beyond that. |
