Yume looked at him. "Clearly." He said glancing at his neck then back to his brother. "Why would..." He stopped and swallowed. "Would that man have had him chained to a bed.....for the reason I think?" He couldn't make himself say it.

Yume shook his head and stood up. He pushed his hand through his hair as he started to pace. "Then...I was too late. I was too f*cking late." He frowned and shook his head.

Nipo's eyes were bloody as he looked over at her. He didn't recognize her. His hand tightened on Tahno's.

Eri frowned, "Spirits...he looks horrible." She walked closer, "When did he get here?" She didn't seem to notice Nipo's fear as she walked closer.
