So you're saying...growing up in an island full of mercenaries is never good for anyone in the world...

You know, socially, it can't really be the best thing developmentally:-)

I've wondered that also.

I thought it was built specifically for One. I always figured he was constantly traveling- no real home.

Who wants to start?!

I'm weird and figured that the island was One's safe zone for when he was between jobs and where he taught Dos, Trey, IV, Five, and Six (hereafter referred to as "The Five" because I'm lazy). It was kind of like his home base kind of like how Providence HQ is sort of like Six's home base.
My headcanon has the lava house being built after One started to turn but somewhere on that island is where he used to live.
Since my headcanon also has Holiday from a somewhat rural area with a fairly tight-knit community, I figured that the differences in how they were raised and what each defines as normal would cause significant hurdles for them to conquer on the way to any sort of personal relationship.

Well, it was mentioned in canon that they built the 'lave house' thing after One went Evo. (He wanted it as a fail safe.)
As far as the island itself is concerned. No idea. I'd like to believe it's where Six grew up, but I'm not sure. *shrug*

I dunno if anyone will care or anything, but I feel like I'm suffering from "Holix withdrawal" because of the lack of Holix exposed to me like fics and stuff
Hehe, just sharing...

Agreed
Hey anyone notice that we have more Holix exposure in plot episodes. Like once or twice in fillers but mostly in plot?

I didn't notice that, Doc, but now that I think about it, we do get a lot of that vibe in plot episodes. Hidden message maybe that the relationship might have some importance later on?

.... OH COME ON!!!! I've been pumping out Holix fics like clockwork lately! You guys are nuts!!
And yes, Doc, I see that, too lol. Actually, we have a dose of Holix in every episode that's written by MoA themselves.

So obvious yet so subtle
That's a weird way of putting it, huh?

Hm. Moa knows what their fans want. Circe only appears in episodes written by MOA as well.
