I have a theory that Gabriel Rylander is Noah's dad (Look at two pics of them side by side! The resemblance is uncanny!) and the house he lives in belongs to Providence. This has been my head cannon, thus far. I really get the sense that Noah lives with his single mother, a career mom, who acknowledges that her son is very mature for his age (because let's face it, Noah actually is) and he's a latchkey child. This gives him a lot of wiggle room to 'hang' with Rex. But yeah, there's a line somewhere...I'm sure Noah's made the news with Rex so, the cat has to be out of the bag somewhere:-)

I like this theory too. It does make a lot of sense. *nodnod*
If Rylander really is Noah's father, then it's kind of funny how closely tied Noah is with Rex before Rex even knew it. Who knows, maybe they were friends way before the nanite event and Noah doesn't even know it was Rex he played with. Maybe Noah is a surprise link to Rex's past that's been under Rex's nose all along! *le gasp*

If he's not White's son (or SOMEBODY in Providence at least...) how did Noah get roped into Evo-sitting? Did they (I read this theory on another thread) Drive up in a un-marked white vehicle and say "Hey jailbait, want some CANDY?"
Noah: CANDY?! *jumps in the van* WELL WHERE IS IT?
Providence guys: It's, uh...back at our house.
Noah: WELL WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR LETS GO!
Cookies to anyone who gets that reference XD

Please, oh please MoA! Give us answers!
I want to think that Gabriel Rylander is Noah's dad. The fact that they have biblical names started my suspicion and then I saw the physical similarities and the hairstyles. And I kinda hoped Noah was Rex's long long brother by adoption.
If Dr. Rylander was the dad, that would explain one missing parent, connections to Providence and ultimately to Rex, and seemingly well-off financial means.

If Rylander is Noah's father, then its possible that someone, perhaps a member of Providence's mysterious governing 'board,' knew Rylander and consequently Noah as well. When Rylander went missing, perhaps his wife - Noah's mother - went to this person who became tied to Providence seeking support of some sort - who knows. Then later on, Noah gets more closely tangled with Providence when this 'board member' suggests using him as the perfect friend (and spy) for Rex.
If something like this was the case, then this might also explain why Noah's mother isn't too concerned about her son hanging with the Providence crew.

*crosses arms* I choose to believe that Noah has a excentric rich sugar daddy and just happens to keep residence in one of the ERSD's many rent houses.
